I wonder why. Maybe cause u were being sexist and who in the right mind would go to that cafe.Exactly. No oppressed group's problems matters less than another, and this should be universal, applying not only to genders. | /r/MensRights | 22/08/20 06:05 AM

[Question] Why are masculism and feminism separated?I completely agree with the two options thing, but I disagree that option 2 is the way to go. Which physical/limitable resource is being used right now for that cause? If you can list one, then I think we're thinking a bit differently, because I'm thinking of chivalry and respect. I'm all for chivalry, but not exclusively towards women. It might be a bit childish and unrealistic, but respect everyone. Respect is not a "resource" that's being wasted. I don't think that women are treated as royalt… | /r/MensRights | 17/08/20 06:47 AM
[Question] Why are masculism and feminism separated?Hm I guess after reading a lot of comments from both r/feminism and this sub, the solution would to be to simply do away with these two movements. Just the name itself insinuates that each is only advocating for one side. People have said that if I believe that equality can be achieved, I'm delusional. What are your thoughts? Would doing away with both and forming a new movement be more progressive? | /r/MensRights | 17/08/20 05:00 AM
[Question] Why are masculism and feminism separated?Of course there are people who will always discriminate towards others, but starting from how we bring up and educate children, I think that we can improve equality in society. Will complete equality ever be reached? No. No one will ever be equal in others eyes, because it's human nature to do what benefits us, and if oppressing someone for their differences in advantageous, then we'll probably do it. But it's sad BECAUSE a lot of people think that we've already achieved equality (specifically i… | /r/MensRights | 16/08/20 10:12 PM
[Question] Why are masculism and feminism separated?Perhaps I worded my post incorrectly - I fully support the pure idea of feminism, aka gender equality. However, i think that a large percentage of modern feminists aim for only equality in the pros, and don't want the cons. So I don't think that they have the same goals, but I'm saying that both groups SHOULD have the same goals in order to strive for a better and progressive society. | /r/MensRights | 16/08/20 10:06 PM

[Question] Why are masculism and feminism separated?Notice they never want equality in sewage work, only things with either political, financial or social power or influence This is why the concept of gender equality needs to be based on "equal rights, equal responsibility." For example, the selective service system; most feminists I've read about online believe that there should not be one, but if there is, that women should also enlist. However, most feminists, mainly women, have never even heard of it because "it's not our problem." | /r/MensRights | 16/08/20 06:19 AM
