I just get tired of the same bullshit being regurgitated by people who parrot fox news/cnn without checking if it is actually true. For instance in this story, the cops were defunded (money was removed from the police budget) and there were less officers (because officers quit) and crime did increase. So the headline: "Minneapolis defunds police, now there's less officers and more crime!" is a technically true statement, but not the whole story.

Yeah, except they didn't have police bc the officers quit, not bc they the dept was bankrupted. They only diverted 8 million out of a 179 million dollar police budget to other social services. Their budget still allowed for the same amount of uniformed officers. I don't fault the minor at all, unless they are harassing the adult, then the adult needs to involve the parents or some type of authority. Human brains aren't mature until long after puberty, so the adult has to think for both of them.

Well since one is an adult, and the other a child, I think the adult needs to shut it down immediately. Even a 24 year old dating an 18 year old is odd to me, as a serious maturity issue in the adult is highly likely. If an unlicensed 15 year old wanted to drive my car, its my responsibility as the adult to say no. The kid MIGHT be an excellent driver, but its against the law, and irresponsible of ME, to allow it to happen. Not saying these examples are on the same level, but it just illustrates…

Mad respect for this man. Appropriate level of force, one hit, didn't react when she thought about hitting back. This guy showed so much restraint and forethought in an incredibly stressful situation. He used this as a teaching moment instead of a terrifying ass beating that could have been easily twisted into "black man brutally assaults young white girl on bus!". To clarify, I meant that I dont hear it on the news or see pro-feminist web sites denouncing her actions or behavior. I HAVE seen individuals who identify as feminists support Depp as you had mentioned, but if this situation was reversed you would see official statements from organizations and whatnot. I would be more supportive of feminist groups if they admitted when someone they formerly supported (beginning of Heard-Depp divorce) was acting inappropriately instead of not commenting.
