1	We live in a patriarchy... True, but I specifically meant that men produce and labor more goods than woman globally(in the labor and stem fields men heavily outnumber woman for example), and bring in more money on average as well. This is arguably a power dynamic that favors men and the effects are heavily pronounced in Asian countries like China and 3rd world nations(woman are not valued to the point that most parents specifically want to breed boys and put girls up for adoption). Woman are becoming more independent as time goes on but men still are dominant in this regard. 2	Is this sub better than the first MGTOW sub? I completely understand, but I haven’t gone through that stage personally. I am quite young, decently attractive, and have never been invested/interested in any romantic relationships so I felt very little rage. It was more-so a uncomfortable phase for me as I acclimated to the MGTOW community that I’m still struggling with. 1	The ways in which men "hurt" women and women "hurt" men: are they the same? It does, it’s just really rare. My grandparents are very happy together, and so were my aunt and her husband before he died. They’ve been loyal to each other for decades and regard each other more as true friends. It’s not perfect obviously but it’s better than most relationships. My grandmother hasn’t taken advantage of him financially as well, they’re actually on the poorer side but both retain jobs. If you can’t get into a healthy relationship with a woman then I would say they’re better off with just you as a parent if you are competent at the role. I’m glad you love them even though your marriage went south, I didn’t get that love from my dad for a long time. At least my grandfather was a good father figure.
