Hahahaha. What you said reminds me of something. My wife gives me some shit for the amount of time I work out. I joke back, "it's all for you!" She says, "no, you've done that all your life; it's for you." I say, "yeah, but if I don't, I'll get fat and you won't be into it any more and you'll go off and try to find a better deal; you won't find it, of course, and you'll be angry--see, it's for you!" It's basically a shift in perspective you should probably work towards - instead of seeing this as a problem, nuisance to be fought, or a bad thing, it should be simply be enormously validating. I think most guys forget or won't admit to how much affection means to them. Very true. And, my wife also actually has interesting things to say. She's very knowledgeable in her field and generally sharp, and yet not overly competitive or un-feminine. This is exceedingly rare in today's society, and not to be squandere…

Thanks for the feedback. I'll check out "SGM" if for no other reason than the name humors me. The bedroom is quite excellent--that's not the issue at all. Honestly, I think one thing that keeps my biology in check is that I spent a full decade in play mode. I don't feel any need to catch up to any fun, as I don't feel I missed out. In all honesty, every time I go to a bar now, it's primarily to eat a nice dinner and people-watch. And, the latter reminds me, time and again, how much annoying the …

To each his own, I suppose.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
