It's the same as "money doesn't buy happiness." Maybe true, maybe not. But it's better to get rich and find out for yourself than to remain poor and guess/cope.

Could be that. I also work with a 20-something year old girl who constantly brings up her husband because she thinks she's constantly being hit on. Trying to establish a boundary. Fucking annoying.

You're boring. There are plenty of ways to not be boring. Jokes are just one of them. If you can't be funny then be dangerous. Or mysterious. Or stop giving a fuck.

Technology creates winner-takes-all markets. Only the top women on OF make any money. Only the top men are getting laid on Tinder. It's a consequence of limitations being removed making it more meritocratic.

Half the people here now, reading everyday, don't seem to get it. I'm not too worried about those who don't want to hear that message suddenly corrupting it, co-opting it, or spotting it in the wild.

Because that line of thinking is nihilism and leads to self-inflicted misery, self loathing, and wasting away to nothing. Self-improvement, struggling toward mastery of something, anything, is the only way out.

That book was my gateway to the red pill. Had I found the red pill through popular media's portrayal I don't think I've have given it a fair shot. But when you get a truth bomb dropped on you like that it's hard to deny there's something here that resonates. Good luck on your journey. It's a long road with uncertain outcomes, but one way or another you'll be a better man for it.

If you do have ADHD, there are very specific effects it has on a marriage. There's a common pattern which your situation seems to describe. 1) Get a diagnosis. 2) If you have ADHD, read "is if you, me, or adult ADD," and "ADHD effect on marriage." Both are on audible if you don't have time to read. 3) get treatment, both medication and behavioral change. This will improve your life beyond your marriage and ties in with OYS. Most of what you read will fit just fine with TRP. ADHD, if you do have …

I see one. I've found most of the progress I've made has been under my own steam. They're not going to fix you, you have to do it yourself. The benefit of seeing them (if you find the right one) is having someone who can spot, and call you out on, your shitty behaviours and patterns. If you're already good at owning your shit then you may not bed one. Additionally. If you just want to talk to someone about everything and not have it trash a relationship you value then a shrink can be useful ther…

As others have mentioned, until you see proof then she's not pregnant. This is a really common tactic they use when a guy won't commit. Fake a pregnancy then a "miscarriage" in a couple of months. It's to test the water and/or get latched on. Also seen different women use it on my brother and multiple friends. Based on her reactions, too: it's not real until she's crowning.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
