I was about to write a post on this. While doing reading, and podcast listening, I realized that one of the core keys to attractiveness is simply having a mission and following it with conviction. It can literally be anything. As long as the goal is something you really want to obtain.

Agree 100%. Girls don't get tingles from "yes" men. There's been many times that completely destroying a feminists point of view about a given situation/comment has given me a more masculine image. Even in front of a gaggle of them. Once people realize that you don't fall into the "status quo", as long as you back up your comments by looking and being the part, you are respected for your counter-culture opinions. Your post speaks to me. Similar situation, exact same feeling of various emotional states, feeling like I was feminized by my mother etc. I actually brought this up to my mother once. About how I was missing a "gap" from a lack of a positive male role model. About how I learned a ton about masculinity from watching, reading, learning and applying. My mother flipped. I'm glad you brought this up. I did, indeed already have a talk with him. In which I made sure he wanted my advice/help. He came looking for advice and I gave him some brutal truth.
