I don't want someone who's depends on me to be happy/successful Be careful evaluating this, it is in the feminine nature to be in relationship to feel fulfilled. She wants to hitch to a strong male. As you grow as a man, this will lose it's feeling of being a burden, and grow into a feeling of a gift and a responsibility as opposed to a burden. It's much easier to get to this place once her reactions no longer dictate your sense of self and esteem. Now the hard part, when I'm okay with someone w…

Reward his alpha behavior consistently and repeatedly. Do you know his love language? If not, find out, and reward according to his love language (google it if you're not familiar with it). Read up on your own work to make sure you're not unintentionally emasculating him in the relationship. Working on staying in your feminine will encourage his masculine to come out. Bring up topics in a non-directive. "Hey I read this interesting article today and was wondering what you thought of it..." "I sa…

I really appreciate your work and thanks for putting it out there in a very affordable manner. Your material is a breathe of fresh air when so much of the mansphere material is from angry/hurt men hamstering their own destructive behaviors to protect their wounded hearts. If and when my clients are ready, I recommend your site and books. Obviously I'm bias, but it seems that therapy/counseling/coaching gets a bad rap in helping men transition over to TRP and in my experience it's invaluable. (Gi…

I can offer you some tips here. Many of the techniques here are a result of having a very strong sense of self (frame). Soft dread comes naturally when you have clear lines about what is and isn't okay in your world (clear boundaries and expectations). You're living your life to get the result you want, not to please anyone. You can want your LTR and wife to be happy without sacrificing what is important to you. You can set clear limits on the behavior you expect from someone you're with. You MU…

I'm late 30s, they're anywhere between 24-30, but this is something that the women I go out with have shown going back a while despite age. You have to learn how to vet the women you go out with and flip the script. You are the prize.

What is your take on therapy? Is it useful in any sense? Clearly I'm biased. Therapy can be absolutely valuable. A good therapist or psychologist can be an exceptionally awesome partner in helping you become empowered and the man you want to be. A good therapist can help you discover something in a few sessions that might otherwise take you 6-12 months to discover on your own. The quality of therapy you can get from a professional, like any other profession, varies greatly on the quality, skill,…

If you apply what TRP instructs you to do, you're off on your own ship, as the captain, sailing to wherever it is you desire. Some of us have desires to help lost sailors and thus you find us here. For those of us refining our craft, there is no better place to hone one's skills then among those seeking the same thing. If you're consistently living on your edge, life is one big shit test. It helps to know where your fellow captains are amidst this great ocean.

One day, if and when you're ready, it'll make sense. “Books are mirrors: you only see in them what you already have inside you.” -- Carlos Ruiz Zafón, The Shadow of the Wind “A book is like a mirror: if an ass looks in, you can’t expect an apostle to look out.” -- G. C. Lichtenberg

I haven't. I get what you're saying, but any style of yoga is RP if it serves the practitioner's desired intent and purpose. I've done bikram, power, vinyasa, kundalini, and yin for the most part. I don't have time to fully comment, but you have so many issues in your post. You may not consider it oneitis, but you definitely have womanitis. I began to question myself and every improvement I've made. Your entire frame collapsed when you got a negative data point. You're still in validation and "approve of me" mode. Embrace the suck and learn from it. Just learn from it. There is no "suck". It is what it is. It's data points. Are you showing up how you want to show up? Not for a given resul…

Remember, these behaviors are simply "markers" for the desired traits women want. They are the peacock feathers for men who are confident in their frame. Men who have no need to explain themselves. Men who direct their own world and do not allow another person's BS to pull them off course. If you're spinning plates, this will work well enough as you're not bringing depth into the relationship. If you're at all interested in a relationship, your feathers will quickly fall out if you don't have th…

You don't have to wonder if what was in that article is true. It's clear he is exceptionally beta and his status got a bump because of his exposure and fame. Unfortunately, his lack of accountability to his actions in the first marriage will doom the second one as well. How long the new woman can tolerate it will be in proportion to what he provides her, but even then, I predict she will cheat on him with an alpha-type man.

Different men have different backgrounds with different experiences requiring different solutions. If it helps you, more power to you. If it doesn't, move on. In general, paying attention to how and where you direct your sexual energy is a net gain.

Nice write up and contribution. When a woman gets into a relationship with you, she is trusting you with her stewardship... she is handing you the keys to the castle. Shit tests are designed to test your stewardship. Deep down, a feminine woman unconsciously knows she can not be trusted because of her emotions, so when her emotions dictate your behavior, she can not trust you. Her emotions are already running her, "our ship" is screwed if they run you too. You have some great comments on masculi…

I can totally understand why you would think that. "too much" is subjective though. Do what works for you. To be more accurate, I digest and consume on average 100 books a year (realistically more). How do I do that and still digest the information? 1) I've learned and use several different reading methods including PhotoReading. Most people have terrible "reading skills". We're never taught to read effectively. It's amazing how much more information you can digest by learning new reading skills…

Keep working on your frame. When you're completely congruent in your frame. You have no reason to argue, defend, or relinquish a point. It's your frame. It requires no one's approval, and thus, no reason to fight for your point or to feel diminished by not "proving" it. Walk on.

Self-respect and clear standards of behavior. You want respect? Respect yourself and let those around you know of clear consequences for violating your standards. This goes for men, women, friends, or strangers.

He admits he allowed it to happen. He was a weak man with no self-respect or boundaries on how he is treated. Both are at fault. She is quoted as taking the high road and doesn't go full psycho when given the opportunity to bad talk him. Whether or not it's the truth, she earns points.

Definitions of God vary by user, and the morality structure that comes along with that definition was simply invented by various people as a form of control. Cultivating spirituality isn't mutually exclusive with being with multiple women if you're doing it with integrity.

People convert when they are ready, not based on the quality of your message. If you're inclined, use power talk (see stickied post if you're not up to date, looks like there's a new sticky now and I don't have time to find it) to see if they are ready, if not, insta-next and move on.

Great question for TRP. I'm launching a new facet of my business. I'm moving to another part of the country more aligned with my values and the environment I want to be in. On average, I read about 100 books a year on personal development, personal growth, or business development. Discovered the awesomeness of yoga and added it to my workout routine. Researching and utilizing supplements (general health and workout) that improve my well-being I've been meditating for 6 years. After my move and b…

She was born in a different time with different experiences. She can only hope to understand if she WANTS and TRIES to understand. Her understanding is not dependent on the quality of your explanation. Let it go. This will also apply to other women who snicker and judge your life choices. Let it go. They aren't worth your time or energy. Do not let them take up space in your heart and mind.

No it's not. The equivalent analogy would be "cringing at BluePillers and WhiteKnights" is an NFL Football Player caring what a fan or rival fan thinks of him and then talking about it. The fundamentals of TRP is working on yourself. Getting out and practicing, working out, learning skills, doing things that interest you, eating healthy, caring about your appearance.

Thanks, 80/20 is definitely a good start. Eventually, you do want it to be 5% or less. That 15% is a 30% swing, think about the significance of 30% in your life. It's huge. Keep at it. Your questions are exactly the type of refocusing that will yield you results.

So if you point them out, do so only as a means to better yourself; do so as a reminder to yourself to where you slip up; do so as a way to improve how you handle a situation. That's my point. Many use it as a way to stroke their ego and belittle others.

She has a large pool of behaviors to pull from to know the difference between alpha behavior and beta behavior. She will classify you very quickly if you show any signs of beta behavior. Your window will close very quickly if you show up like the orbiters. On the flip side, if you distinguish yourself quickly as a man who goes after what he wants, her eyes will light up very quickly assuming any minor attraction. I agree with you, although you're always going to find that since TRP is specifically catered to sexual strategy. If you'd like to have deeper insight on non-sexual things, you'll have to ask deeper or more specific questions. A general question is going to get a general answer.
/r/TheRedPill12/12/13 02:09 AM

Is this question about you? If so, I recommend you own it. Don't ask a general question, ask a specific one. TRP is about becoming accountable to yourself. This is actually a crucial step in changing your experience. You've already highlighted the issue. Let me rephrase something for you so you can see it clearer. The limited results they see are destroyed by their lack of options, reinforcing the negative view they have. I get limited results, but I ignore them and focus on my negative thoughts…

TRP revolves around value. What are you valued for? What are you doing to increase your value? How are you getting compensated for your value? Directly applicable to a career. Make sure you show case your value and worth, leverage it for more compensation and benefits. Know your value. Always be increasing your value through self-improvement in your field. Not happy in your field or job, NEXT.

It's the same philosophy you're supposed to use for spanking a child. Spanking is supposed to be used to get their attention, not to punish or hurt. It's supposed to shock the system not damage it. Since I'm normally very calm and never raise my voice, I've found that a firm loud "HEY!" works for me. I love getting the "Oh shit" eyes, instant state change. I personally wouldn't do anything that would give truth to the statement "He hit me." (unless I was defending myself of course).
