As a somewhat short guy (5'9"), if you are taller than another guy, you can never lose a verbal spar to them. Just go directly for their height, biggest insecurity for any short guy gauranteed.

I don't bring value to a social group because I have no social group to start with. I can't invite other friends or hot girls to a get together because I have none to start with. I have none to start with because I have no value to offer to a social group. I can't get out of this paradox, someone help.

I think a lot of the advice here is geared towards ~24 year old+ guys. Of course AWALT and you will need to develop and maintain your alpha character, but I do think you are more likely to find a chick who will be good to you for a long time (LTR,marriage, mother of your kids) in college. A lot of "good" girls (as close to good as they can possibly be) go to college looking for someone to settle down with and if you find one of those, I'd say shes a good investment. For us guys after 25 it gets a…

The biggest problem I'm having, at 28 years old, is pre selection. Women see that I haven't been very successfull with women up to this point in my life, so they automatically see me as an undesirable loser. It seems like my SMV can keep going up, but if I don't ever get with at least one hottie and have plenty of proof showing it, I will be automatically placed in the beta provider category everytime. I can't find a way around it. Seems like I'm doomed to be a provider for a post wall woman or …

Wow. I suspect I failed with a girl that I'm still seeing precisely because I let on very early that I was emotionally invested in her. She caught wind of that, hell I even outright said it over text. Wish I had read all of this right before I met her. This was very well put, maybe the best post I've read on TRP.

I think so. Dinner date last weekend. She picks a restaurant, she finishes eating well before me. Says the food is making her feel sick, goes to the bathroom for a bit. Comes back and nonverbally puts pressure on us to go, and we leave. I walk her to her car, she says that we are going out on dates, but she wouldn't call it dating just yet. "I just got out of a very serious relationship, this is going real fast." She probably went out with friends, or to some Chad. This has been causing me a goo…

If you've ever followed any sports in your life, you know full well men peak physically in their mid 20s. But we don't hit a wall so to speak, until much later.

But... how? Whenever I see a guy who is highly successful in his field, but is dating a dog (or well below his potential) I immediately think less of him. If having a high quality woman isn't the end goal, then what has this whole thing been about? What's the point of improving oneself?

I disagree with this, particularly if we're talking about not going for divorce. I think this could and does actually happen pretty often when a woman knows she could never do better than what she already has.

Tall, makes good money and has good social skills? Billions and even the body are not needed at that point.

The most tragic part about this whole thing, is that our generation is probably the last or second to last one where being good at video games won't increase your social or monetary value (it already does for the top 1% though). More and more girls are getting into games, and I can totally imagine in a not so distant future, the platinum level league player will be sitting right along side the cool hipster, the weed dealer and the accepted minority on the cool kids' tables in high schools all ac…

i look good without a shirt on, but I can't find any way of taking a picture in a social setting without my shirt. Also my friends (acquaintances) are not the type of guys who will pose for photos. I actually do go out and socialize and can be an interesting dude sometimes... but I have no way of showing this on tinder.

I had one match on tinder who messaged me first, took the initiative to actually schedule a date with me, pick the time and place... and then flake on the day of. That one still confuses me to this day.

She's obviously not that big of a somebody. I'd never heard of her before this, nor that movie she's promoting. And Cara was rude from the very first word out of her mouth. Maybe the mispronunciation of her name is what set it off, but still...

You're right, I guess we all know deep inside that working out and dressing well will make us more successful. But not putting women on a pedestal, that is one area where TRP definitely "blew my mind" and changed how I perceive the world around me.

If AWALT is being associated with things like lying about rape or things even worse, then its not being used correctly. AWALT mainly refers to hypergamy, all women are hypergamous, yes AWALT. And even then, I think there are women that are not like that, but if you start believing that, then you will always fool yourself into thinking the random chick you're talking to is one of those very rare select few who "aren't like that." Better to just live with the principal: AWALT.

Or if she had a drink before the video too, because then she didn't even realize she had made a video consenting.

This is why I feel like the poster in the OP isn't that far off from the truth. In most sexual situations, I as the man am taking the lead. The girl usually is playing her usual "but I'm not that kind of girl" routine, and I'm pushing the boundaries and trying to take it past first and second base. It sucks that women are able to turn around on some men and accuse them of rape after consenting the night before. I think it happens less than some MRA would have you believe, but its awful that it h…

By reading enough askreddit threads, I've come to the realization that at least 60% of reddit is or has been depressed. This leads me to think that its more likely just "white people problems" or "privileged problems".

That sounds like the Free Love Era where the women actually did make an effort to distribute enough sex so that everyone was pretty much satisfied. Those were great times no doubt. I'd actually be willing to live that way and since I was in High School in the 1970's that's how I thought things would turn out. It was really pretty nice back in the innocent days when Love ("sex") was actually Free. You can live that way. You can fuck however many bottom of the barrel women you want even now.

Agreed 100%. No such thing as real female on male domestic violence, IMO. Maybe a one off incident where a man faces the wrath of a woman who is wielding a weapon or surprised him in his sleep. But a man who is routinely abused by his woman is simply not a man. And if women don't get any sympathy from us, then this little prick certainly shouldn't either. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

I read about halfway through the book of pook and immediately scored my first GF about 5 years ago. Of course I stopped reading and applying it and kept that relationship going on for way too long. But pook has a great handle on human psychology and expresses his ideas very well.

When you have a strong opinion on a matter, and stating that opinion will actually be productive, say it. But don't say things just to avoid silence.

Well placed witty comments during class will get you noticed, and from there you could act quiet and others will approach you. Unfortunately wit isn't something one can learn or practice, at least I don't think so. But you're absolutely correct, if you go to class everyday and never say anything to anyone, people will flat out ignore you the entire year. There are enough other guys drawing attention to themselves or giving their attention to girls that they simply don't need you. And you're only…

I guess it depends on your definition of success. Most people, self proclaimed sociopaths included, are clueless in the eyes of a loser with very high standards for success. To this loser, even the VP and CEO of the company are clueless. While another loser with lower standards may think middle management is actually a really cush position and would love that job, but not at the cost of working hard for a few years before asking for the promotion. I consider myself a sociopath because I will kee…
