Everyone - watch the documentary by Alain de Botton called 'Status Anxiety'. It's very sobering.

He's pushing 30 and his fiancee must be 34-35 ish, if I had to guess.

There's a line in the Book of Pook that explains this well. You don't want a bird that wants to be caged, you want the smug satisfaction of catching it.

Well of course the feminine imperative needs cucks. It's the Beta Bucks side of Hypergamy. Hence why it's "empowering". Who will look after Chad's spawn otherwise? Has to be that docile unsuspecting guy right?

What's the food that lowers her libido by 90%? Her wedding cake.

Sweet. Like one of our friends here said, don't let women know you stay there if you can help it.

Look into Stoicism. One of the key tenets is that you must focus solely on things that are in your control. Case in point - our reputation is fixed by others. So we mustn't worry about it.

Classic case of society / the feminine imperative suggesting it's fine to be a simp like Alan.

Digging the premise of this post. I've also intuitively believed in the wisdom of the ancients as it pertains to sexual transmutation and what not. Saved.

Yep, there must be quite a few guys out there who realize they shouldn't get married but don't know about TRP / MGTOW. Either way, I hope the MGTOW ocean keeps growing.

The parents always insist their sons to be alpha. At least in matters of dealing with their wife. Nope. Doesn't work that way.

Indian guy here, from a metro. RP truths abound all around. Indian women are very disingenuous. A lot of them have this double act going where they feign being traditional / a damsel in distress in front of their family but their (close) friends know the score. When it's time to settle down, she'll marry a thirsty engineer / MBA / doctor cuck. AWALT.
/r/TheRedPill23/05/16 11:19 AM

Are you going to justify getting married now? That too on this sub, of all places?
/r/TheRedPill23/05/16 11:09 AM

Urban Indian women are spoilt little daddy's girls whose narcissism knows no bounds. They fuck Raj Thundercock the gym bro on the sly and get married to a software engineer / MBA cuck when it's time to settle down. AWALT, whether it's New York or New Delhi.

Exactly. A lot of blue pill manginas and bitter post wall women will be gunning for OP.

Yeah, that'll convince more men to marry. /s

Society does not want men to be free. This dynamic plays out in the corporate world very well. If you're a single guy and your boss is being extra mean to you one morning, you can just show him the finger and walk out because you have enough savings for yourself. Your boss and your company can't make you their bitch, which is what they want. They know that if you're married, you'll work harder to make more profits for them. Caveat: due to envy, they may try to stymie your promotions though.

The system will continue to remain broken until enough men wake up. That kind of critical mass may take decades to form. Or, as the Red Pill says, it has to get worse before it gets better. See, our species evolved to be gynocentric. Most heterosexual men have that blind spot when it comes to women. We allow them to be shitty because we fear we'll lose them or whatever. Riddle me this - why did a guy as smart as Elon Musk marry the same whore twice?

Yeah, you need to be at least mildly sociopathic to seduce women. Men's thinking is usually more linear and based on relational equity. Women don't work that way, as Briffault's Law tells us time and again.

Chanakya also had some interesting things to say about women. He was way ahead of Schopenhauer but point taken. Got Story of Philosophy on my bookshelf, and it makes me happy there's a big ass chapter on Schopenhauer.

Even natural alphas eventually get married and beta-fied with time because they're not red pill aware. It's a gradual process and the guy will think it's normal.

Top tier black men -- think professional athletes especially, should receive some kind of education on MGTOW. Many a times these guys are blue pill mama's boys and end up marrying a ho. Some of them can be surprisingly red pill though.

This is fucking hilarious if real -- as in, women are actually being taught about us? Hahaha.

That's the correct attitude. You found MGTOW right when you needed it, and only when you needed it. Think of it that way.

A lot of women actually have low self-esteem. Allow me to explain why. From an evolutionary POV, men were stronger and faster. They did the hunting and the gathering. Women traded sex for protection and resources. Now, women know (at a subconscious level) that they are weaker than men. That's why they feel the constant need for validation - this plays out on sites like Instagram where women are constantly whoring for attention and seeking reassurances about how attractive they are. As we all kno…

That's actually an interesting way of putting it. It could explain why men (betas, essentially) mate guard.

Yep. Except one of those things is perfectly acceptable socially. Guess which one.

Yeah, re-read it. This time, apply what's in it. Not bragging about oneself and letting the other person do a great deal of the talking is a core theme of the book. I'm currently reading it and have already applied a couple of concepts a few times at work. It makes a difference.

Posts like these scare me, yet they also remind me that women are more than ready to play the long con. Don't get married, guys.

Are you the YouTube guy?
/r/MGTOW19/04/16 04:57 AM
2

True. That isn't lost on me, but here's the thing - not marrying can give a man plenty of freedom. Men don't consume much; women are the ones who really stimulate the economy. Funnily enough, there is no definitive position on women within MGTOW itself -- in fact, TRP is a more vociferous proponent of bachelorhood.
/r/MGTOW16/04/16 05:52 AM
3

Just to clarify, the Manosphere is a loose amalgamation of a number of different factions. MGTOW, TRP and the MRM (the closest of the three to male feminism) are reactions to the reality that we are living in a gynocentric society that shits on men. You're barking up the wrong tree if you want MGTOW to do something about equal rights. Most MGTOW couldn't give a FUCK, because they're too busy enjoying FREEDOM. MGTOW are not MRAs. Sounds like you haven't grasped that yet.

For a couple months on noFap I didn't have a libido or the desire to masturbate at all, and that really messed me up. No motivation or willpower to do anything. It was almost like depression except I had desires and wants. That's the flatline. Lots of posts on NoFap about it. Supposedly, if you push through it, your libido returns. That too with a bang.

Marcus Aurelius was supposedly blue pill (there was a superb post on here recently - search for 'St Jerome'), which is sad & surprising. Dude had the wisdom of a thousand intelligent people combined.
