Yeah its also that there are literally tens of thousands of strains that have individual terpene combinations that effect individuals differently. Now that we're opening up studies I think we'll start to see people figure out what terpene profiles work for them to achieve specific effects. Agreed that it definitely can be addictive for some people, but I'd argue its no more addictive than video games and wildly less harmful than alcohol, on the spectrum.

Yeah I do take some issue with demonizing weed in this context. Lots of incredibly productive and athletic people have a smoke every night and are better for it as it helps regulate anxiety, appetite, and a host of other issues. But its also demographic - I already had a degree and owned a house before I took any interest in it, and there are some studies that indicate it does harm brain development in folks under 21 or so.

I actually don't think she fully understands divorce/alimony/etc. so the fear is real. But the problem is once I start down that road she might get more educated, and that's another problem. And for the rest you're spot on.

Divorce in this situation would be tricky - she wouldn't involve a lawyer, her family tends to avoid legal issues because they don't really understand them. We'd likely have a no contest divorce. That being said, my mother-in-law went through a very contentious divorce and is a total harpy, and would likely torpedo the whole thing. If it happens I need to basically start and finish it as quickly as possible to avoid outside input from her mom's side.

Don't get me wrong - a divorce would be a gigantic pain in the dick in the short term, but in the long-term I think would be a wash, maybe a net gain for lifestyle, hard to say, a lot depends on divorce variables. It's not that I don't care, I just have parameters for continuing the relationship and if they aren't met I'll do something else.

Sure - Looking back at the origin of it, she went from freaky in the sheets to basically considering sex to be a chore, like a lightswitch after marriage. Here's a good lesson for the non-married guys on this sub. Remember what a blowjob feels like? Holy fuck I wish I did. I wish I had TRP back then, I was racking my brain trying to figure out what happened after we got married to cause that switch. The answer is that she simply stopped trying so hard to please me. She's never been super sexuall…

Yeah this is huge. It's pretty rare that I outright say something like that. Biggest problem with my dread game is that I'm an entrepreneur and the majority of my work is from my home office. Part of being successfully self-employed is optimizing things, particularly my time, so I have basically everything I need to do good work here, including a home gym. But that comes at the cost of her knowing where I am almost all of the time. Thinking about this, part of that optimization should be to inte…

Yeah I fully did not understand this concept the first year of our marriage. I'd process comfort tests intellectually - "You don't have to worry about this because X reason." and that would not help at all and would frequently make matters worse. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's heard, "Sometimes I don't want you to fix it, I just want you to tell me its going to be okay." What she's attempting to communicate is that she wants you to wrap her in your big man arms like you are her father figur…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
