Basic bitches everywhere. That's why I hate dating most of the time.

It's Saturday at 2am here and I'm answering a Reddit thread.

Hey, seriously, good for you man. In my case I began to gain confidence trough my career and that started to expand to other aspects of my life. Congrats for finding your way of dealing with it.

Well, I'm just projecting.

Okay man, you seem like a really happy person so just keep doing whatever you are doing with your life! And nice psychobabble, you sure are intelligent bud.

Some of those people need counseling and maybe medication, I know it because I was there. This kind of places tend to become a conglomerate of guys with mental health disorders, and in the end it's sadly detrimental. Just look at some of the comments here...

I doubt anyone wants to be your friend and that includes me. Get help.

The only possible training for dating is having an interesting life and liking yourself. That's not a numbers game, it takes effort, time and money, much more than following any pua stuff and you know it. How much time could you sustain a lie anyways? If you just want to fuck (Wich is totally fine) then your mentallity is completely functional. But don't tell me I'm a novice just because I prefer quality over quantity. And also, I don't think most guys should "be themselves". I cringe everytime …

How old are you? Man your social skills are really underdeveloped. I recommend you read how to make friends and influence people at least.

Being a humble person is not the same as hiding your intelligence. What are you talking about? Intelligent people take pride in their intelligence.

Sorry dude I already went through that phase and got ratings from rateme, truerateme and even lookism. The most honest places told me I'm average. I have no desire of sharing my pics.

I imagined someone would claim this. I'm 5'8" and totally average, believe me. Attractive people know they are attractive by my age. I am in shape and my style is on point, but that's it. Edit: revisiting this thread, i find it so sad that this comment was downvoted. If you people really think you have to be Brad Pitt to find love then fucking kill yourself already, what the fuck are you doing.

Clarification: I meant in the context of a first date. I don't go around giving that look to random girls, I hope.

What is it then? Getting someone you have no chemistry with to like you?

Yeah I skipped the part were I actually worked to build my self esteem after putting a girl I liked on a pedestal when I was younger.

But meeting people like that is the result of dating and texting hundreds. Yeah it's luck if you never did any effort and it just fell on your lap, not my case. I also had to focus on myself several years, it may be a cliche but it really is necessary.

No such thing as luck with this stuff in my opinion, I'll have to disagree too.

My question would be: what's the point? What do you get from labeling yourself in one of these groups?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
