A pattern maybe but the guy is right. You're doing what way too many guys do here and completely childishly just paint everything with one broad brush. Saying "be careful opening up because a lot of women are shitty" is totally valid advice. But saying "never open up because womens' brains are just built different and they physically can't handle a man crying" is just ridiculous. There's also a pattern of plenty of guys saying they've never experienced it. You deserve to feel the way you feel. I…

Let me use a far more extreme example. The swastika has been a sacred symbol for many cultures for thousands of years and continues to be in certain places. In America, however, the primary association is with the Nazis. So you COULD get a tattoo of a manji and explain that it's actually just a Buddhist symbol and not offensive at all and be prepared to spend your whole life fighting that until the symbol is potentially reclaimed...OR you just let that symbol go. The point is NOTHING is inherent…

That's totally different though. You're either using it scientifically or as an adjective. Usually when I hear someone getting offended it's when they either just use it to make something pseudoscientific e.g. "Females don't feel love they only want money" or just as a weird replacement for a casual noun like "I matched with this female on tinder" Both on their own maybe a little weird but not really bad, but it's usually what surrounds those kinds of things like the first example that kind of s…

Because the "nice guy" movement (precursor to the rise of incels) really failed to understand what women meant when they complain about guys being assholes or wanting to be treated will. So the stereotype became a neckbeard wearing a fedora holding a door open for a woman and the "catchphrase" was "M'lady"
/r/MensRights09/06/24 02:16 AM

It became shorthand for "I am a neckbeard" unless you were very clearly saying it to be overly formal or something. I used to jokingly say it until a girl I was with alerted me to it like she couldn't even stand to hear it. Then I started seeing it more online with the tips hat m'lady memes.

Or 3.) it's a more complex issue than it seems on the surface. At this point a man using the word "female" carries a certain connotation. Deserved or not it's out there as a little red flag or yellow flag. Saying "male friend" is something I've heard other people say but rarely do you hear someone say "hey look at that male over there". But the types of guys who generally will say "a female" instead of "a woman" usually fall either into someone using urban slang (which even then a lot of that cu…

I'm not generalizing. I said on almost every comment I made "based on what I see." Like I said human psychology is complicated, this is just what I see as a commonality in a lot of incels posts that I see. I also never said that not generalizing women would get you laid. Though that is another pattern I noticed that also follows mental illness: "one change won't fix everything so why bother". As well as the idea that everything has to DIRECTLY tie into getting laid.

Sort of. I mean a big thing I don't see is any kind of self-policing. You see a lot of people trying to tell OTHER people that "hey we're just looking to vent and not bother anybody" but you don't see that same kind of attitude aimed at the people who are trying to say the opposite. When you see comments on a "All foids are worthless garbage and should be enslaved" posts, a lot of what you see is either agreement, or just piggybacking their own venting off the back of that, rather than saying "H…

The problem with Incels is highlighted in your first paragraph there: overly reductionist thinking, usually caused by the type of obsessive thinking that comes with mental illness. The biggest thing I see being used to justify the black pill are two....I don't even know if they're studies or what they're usually just presented as facts with no source (I also won't try to discredit them because that's not needed for my argument). But the idea that women only go for the "top" whatever percent of m…

And half the posts on our own rights subreddit are either complaining about feminists or MGTOW/Incel anti dating shit. Stop buying into this culture war bullshit, take the high road, and just focus on issues, at least here.

Y'all seem to be missing another key point here that actually treats women like human beings as opposed to just some hive mind: your own changes in behavior. A huge HUGE thing that keeps women away today is desperation and what's ALWAYS been attractive is confidence. Additionally one of the major things women are looking for in a relationship is someone they can just relax around and not worry so much (even if they're not looking for a relationship, giving off that feeling can just make you eith…

This isn't a MGTOW sub dude...there's already too many shitty posts on here, can we at least keep it to something REMOTELY related to rights?

Right? Of course you only see negative shit in here, I don't make a post every day saying "my wife and I got along great today. She made tacos and they were good." No you only hear from people when it's something shitty.

I haven't seen the movie so I'm basing this solely off movie tropes and standard writing but even how you described it sounds like there was some kind of bad history and he needs to prove himself worthy of trust? I saw another comment say he got out of prison? Also knowing Marvel characters are usually impulsive that also shows commitment that he's serious about being in the kids life? I mean someone step in if I'm way off but please don't read too far into things like this b/c people already se…

Come on guys. This is a rambling garbage article. Besides: key words here are "on dating apps." And there's so.much that goes into that. First of all they actually look at profiles more, let's be real most guys just go "is she ugly? No? Swipe right. It's pretty common knowledge that women are more attracted to personality traits than appearance overall, so if they ARE just looking for a hookup they need to find the guy really physically attractive. If they're looking for a relationship then they…

Ik that's what you were saying is "don't be an asshole" he was just saying "be an asshole"
/r/MensRights14/01/23 03:05 PM

That's not what he's saying at all. Confidence by itself is a sexy trait, not psychopathy (to most women). Psychopaths and sociopaths just have a shit ton of confidence b/c they don't care so that's part of the game. They love bomb while also seeming sure of themselves, then they reveal the crazy later

Probably the same reason you have negative view on "feminism". The normal ones aren't the ones who get headlines or get shared around. A dude who just flat out can't get laid and gets a little depressed about it, but doesn't make it part of his identity is just called a virgin, if anything. Incel is used as an insult 1.) Because it works and it gets people upset/angry/hurt 2.) Because to people who aren't part of any kind of incel community they only hear the word to describe "those people" who …

So that's what happens. You don't just start thinking about sex in your late teens. It was the kids own DREAM.

I don't see how this is a mens' rights issue... But to discuss anyway: hooking is currently illegal in the US plus camming is safer, less personal, and possibly more profitible since there's a wider market and its possible to cater to multiple customers by the minute with more flexibility. All this is moot anyway since again, not a rights issue.

Id totally do the opposite too. "Friday is guys night out at the bar. Get away from the wife and hang out with the guys" etc etc.

I already said it was because the reason its being done has been known about for years and I was surprised OP hadn't known that. Seriously chill out and stop putting words in peoples mouths.

Wow that's not the point I was making at all chill. I was wondering why you hadn't heard of it. The idea is to get some girls in there so guys have a better time as well as to attract some guys who want to get laid since there could be more girls drinking discount booze.

...the idea is to get women into the bar so it's not a sausage fest dude chill they've done that for decades.

I don't see "make a SINGLE mistake and your child will be a rapist" anywhere in this. I agree it's not addressing the real core of the problem but let's not put words in people's mouths
