Apparently a lot of people have never heard of hotwifing lol. You guys need to open your minds, it’s extremely hot. I really don’t think that was the downfall here. I would guess it’s more that she makes more money than you and that’s really tricky. But that doesn’t really matter now. Go to Divorce Care, get a therapist, go to the gym, join a hiking meetup, don’t date for at least a year.

I sympathize with your pain but keep in mind being polyamorous works for some people. As long as everyone is aware of what’s happening. It’s the deception part of having an affair that’s the biggest betrayal.

You can add it to your agreement but there’s no legal enforcement if anyone breaks it

Easy to find crazy chicks to have a one night stand, much harder to find a relationship

What country are you in?

My understanding is that the EU also prefers joint custody because both parents have equal rights. Do you have your own house or apartment and can you provide a stable environment for your children? Because if not, that’s the reason you don’t have custody of your children

What state are you in where 90 percent of custody goes to Mom? Here in my northeastern state 50/50 is standard. You have to fuck up big to get less.

OP didn’t even try to fight for 50/50

I would bet serious money that they didn’t want to attend those family gatherings and used their dogs as an excuse. A genius idea actually.

That’s what therapists get paid very well to do, I’m not your unpaid therapist. And I can’t take the place of friends…

Maybe because it’s exhausting to be the only friend of a cranky depressed person

That’s good that she found a therapist who understands her culture, that can’t be easy. Could you maybe join her in a session and bring up your concerns?

When you say you’re concerned she doesn’t have any friends, not even mom friends…tell us more. Did she have friends before the kids were born? It sounds a lot like my friend’s wife who ended up diagnosed with depression and really improved with medication. Could possibly also be some neurodivergence there but we don’t know enough about her from this post. My family has lots of attention deficit disorders and high functioning autism so that comes to mind. If that’s the case there is therapy avail…

I think his point is that there are other ways of achieving financial security without marrying again. Investing, career change, second job etc.

So think this through bro… Why would childless women choose divorced men with children when they could have a childless man who’s much more available time-wise?

In my opinion you’re projecting your feelings on your son. Of course your son threw the poster out after they were done with the ceremony, who keeps a poster for sentimental reasons? If he didn’t look upset then why do you think he was upset? Let it go, man. Focus on yourself…

Many doctors tell women not to disclose HPV to their partners because there is no test for it in men. So what are men going to do with that information? And in many cases the HPV was dormant for many years before showing symptoms so it’s impossible to know when you got it or from whom. Was your wife your only sexual partner in your life?

I think you’re asking a really important question…however you would really need to be a lawyer to answer these questions about prenups. All I know I learned from the school of hard knocks. I was married for 9 years, stayed at home with two kids for four years, now getting divorced because my husband developed anger issues that therapy just couldn’t help. It’s incredibly scary, especially as my parents are deceased and can’t help me, if I lose my job there’s a good chance the kids and I will be h…

As someone who stayed at home with my two children and is now getting divorced and getting back into the work world…these things are all true. I’m 37 now, my boys are 4 and 6. I only stayed home for four years but getting back into the work world after a long gap is TOUGH and I have a Bachelors degree. Sooo many companies completely ignored my applications on Indeed, one company totally low-balled me. It got to the point that I was starting to feel hopeless… So I took a shitty part time job not …

My ex husband did this. He is a retired cop, I can’t say every cop is like this but this particular profession where they have so much power…doesn’t help make them good partners at all. He has no idea how to compromise even after years of couples therapy. He will just make unilateral decisions and tell me how it’s going to be, it continues to be an issue with co-parenting our two children
