So I guess my eyes and ears didn't work as well as a little kid? Or, being young makes me ignorant to what I see and hear? That's like saying that you were witness to a robbery, but the cops are more prone to take a report from someone that wasn't there, because obviously, they would know more. I can't believe that I'm even answering to this. Critical thought has gone out of the window.

How would you know if it was going on longer? This is something that really bothers me. I view and listen to videos on YouTube with a clearly younger creator, narrating videos about older issues, telling us older people how it was... and they're always getting it horribly wrong.

I'm a middle-aged man and it's almost impossible to find male doctors any more. My one doctor worked until he was 78 and he told me that it was time for him to retire. He said that he tried to stay around for his male patients, but it was getting increasingly tiring for him. He was one man in an office of all women. He said the cattiness and drama was crazy. He couldn't have a discussion about anything, because women will not try to see something another way. It's their way or the highway. I fel…

I posted this in a thread that I created in another sub. It went absolutely insane because I mentioned what had happened to me and all of the white knights, women, and assorted idiots told me that I was a misogynist, "I deserved to be fired", and "I am the problem and they're happy that I got what I deserved". And of course, one of them circumvented me hiding my post history, and posted that I was in this forum. Yeah, I'M the problem.... Thankfully, a mod read the post and took it down. Anyway, …

I completely agree. The thing is, I think that managers know what is going on. I asked semi-loaded questions, as I couldn't ask them in a straight way, because that can get you fired, too. The really tragic thing is, 30 years and before, you would meet your future spouse at work, some of the time. Now, you're risking your job if you even breathe by a woman at work. God help you if they try to talk to you. We can’t just live naturally and try and be good people. This, is exactly it. Not to bring …

It's a hard line. I have so many split opinions on this. Women scream that they're so independent, then cry when no one will help them at work. If they have been being helped at work for the whole time, then how good can they be at their jobs? Women don't want to be ignored at work, but how can they expect any less when there are so many stories out there, of men losing their jobs to false accusations? I would like to think that not all women are like that, but it's been overwhelmingly the other…

I picked up a field tech job with very little effort. Can you believe that there was an admin assistant in one office that tried to flirt with me? I gave her closed answers like, "yes" and "no". Anything else, I just ignored her. She went to my manager's manager, telling him that I was unsocial and I should lose my job. We had a little Zoom meeting and I pretty much asked him if it was my job to be social or to get to my next assignment as quickly as I could. I said, "Is it my job to talk with t…

Thanks for your kind words. I guess my only action from here is to try to let other men know that this does happen and try to keep them away from it. I honestly feel bad about these young men that insult me and call me a liar, hoping that they never have to go through it, even though they're setting themselves up for it.

I had moved around the country when I was younger, living in studio apartments in my younger, poorer years and then graduating to two-bedroom apartments and townhouses as I got more experienced and made more money. I'm middle-aged now and live in a nice townhouse. It's not huge by any means, but it's affordable, and I love just being home. I used to want to go out regularly, largely because I didn't like where I was living. I live frugally to a point, saving for my retirement. I find that stayin…

When I was in my first career job, I had a bad issue of wanting to figure out what the problem was, no matter what I had to throw at it. My boss told me, "If you can't figure it out in an hour, throw it on a switch, and re-image it." At first, I was disturbed by that, not being allowed to troubleshoot and learn things. But then as I progressed into my career, I learned that time is money. You want to get things done fast and move on to the next thing, ASAP.

Something similar happened to me. I'm not going to go into the whole thing, because I usually put it up, only to be insulted. I'm not wasting my time any more. So in short, I was terminated due to a false "MeToo" accusation, even though I had overwhelming proof that she was lying. My company offered me a generous severance package and told me that they wouldn't deny me unemployment, either. I was beyond upset and my buddy couldn't understand why. I told him that it was them saying that they knew…

I posted a genuine question in an IT subforum here. I'll also let that sub be unmentioned. I posted that I lost a valuable position to a baseless false MeToo accusation. The sub exploded with white knights and women, claiming that IT departments everywhere are overwhelmingly misogynistic. Men flocked to defend her (and insult me), too. Even though my experience was very real and I would not wish it on anyone, people told me that I was a liar and "that never happens". One man defended me, saying …

I get tired answering people that are visibly trolling me or I answer respectfully, only to get disrespect in return. You should never feel alone and certainly not in misery. See, again, you're hurt from my context of how I phrase things. I find that people have to stress through parentheses, what bothers them... and you've done it here, twice. I'm not complaining, I'm trying to stress that instead of only talking about it, do something about it. Now, you're angry, demanding answers. Don't you see how getting upset about context takes away from the subject matter of the post? This is going to be my last post about this because it seems like all I'm doing is repeating…

You're welcome. Thank you for reading it. Ultimately, I understood how I could have no rights to her daughter. I mean, honestly, how could I, right? I think that when men go through trauma, that we should learn from it. I learned not to date single mothers and that really cuts down your choices, as it seems that almost all women have children by the time that they get older. Have a great weekend.

You are one of these angry people that go back into post histories, looking for things, anything, to argue about. You want to unite everyone against me to support your narrative, instead of wanting to discuss it. Again, you're telling me what I think. I'm not going to continue talking to you to support your anger. I posted to have a constructive discussion and you obviously, do not know how to do that.

I used to bounce in several bars when I was younger. You wouldn't believe how men and women would get into physical fights. Then, every damn time, the woman would come to me in tears about how "he needs to leave the bar". My first year of bouncing, I fell for it, and ejected the guy while letting the woman stay. Then, after seeing it over and over, I started making them both leave... no discrimination, obviously you both had a part in it, get out. Oh, the tears and pleading from the woman to sta…

Really. It's not that hard to make a call and/or write an email. I love making a call to my Congressman's office about mens' rights, making my voice heard, especially when the person on the other side of the phone is a woman. I always wonder if it stings or if they are on our side.

This is a Reddit sub, not a men’s rights activist organization. While this sub is not an organization, it is definitely about mens' rights. It IS in the title, no? Why do you believe that this sub exists, if not to point out injustices to men, and to (hopefully) rebel against them? That's what I'm trying to point out, that this sub is hopefully not just a bulletin board. As for 2 and 3, I agree with you. Thank you very much for your constructive and supportive post.

I agree with you, to a point. I think that there should be some discretion, though. There are definitely many issues that can be brought up that affect mens' rights. If we, as men, stuck to that, we could focus better. I believe that "woke" issues are superfluous to men's issues. I hate using the term, "woke" because I think it's a subjective term and everyone uses it in a different way. However, I'd like to think that most men can see the disparity. That was definitely a good post and thank you…

It's unfortunate that not only is a constructive discussion on its way out, but men can't even see it to support other men. You're correct in saying that people can complain, but not support. How about instead of addressing the way that a comment is made, address the comment itself? I don't understand how men can get so upset about words, over content.

It's disturbing, because I know I'm going to see a constructive, well-intentioned post because of all of the downvotes. That is the second level of naysayers, be it male or female. I know that I'm going to like reading the post because it will be supportive. I thank you for trying. If you throw your hands up in defeat, you have stopped trying to be a man. Indeed.

I'm well into middle age. I'm going to tell you a story and I hope it doesn't fall on many blind eyes. I dated a woman with a two year-old child. I was 23 years old and the relationship between this 20 year-old woman and I did not go well. However, I formed a very strong bond with her child and that lasted for twelve years. Her mother wasn't a very good parent and her father was uninterested in her. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and was going to go into Marine Biology, but didn…

I'm not going to apologize for being blunt. I have been this way all of my life and I'm not going to change now. There were days where men didn't have to filter their views to other men. It does bother me to no end how I try to have a constructive discussion and it's returned with bitter name-calling and insults, with no intelligent return. Thank you for being younger and seeing that. I will ask men that have their parental rights taken from them, what they try to do, and the overwhelming response is, "just take it". I don't know what to do. I come to a man's forum, try to state my case, and get ganged up on by other men. I'm trying to show men what is (or is not) going on here, but most just stay quiet while the others insult me. Then, they piss and moan that things aren't going their way. It boggles my mind.

You don't know what I'm thinking, past what I have written. I support men being men, as they have always been intended to be... or should I say, as they used to be. However, this is what I'm saying, that if I try to point out the downfall of what is constantly happening and you as a man (I think) insult me, then what are we doing here?

Now parents just dgaf. I had tutored a learning-disabled kid for United Way. I felt bad, because I just couldn't get through to him. My mentor told me that it was okay, because at least he was getting attention. She asked me if I wanted to have an "exit interview" with the parents. I said yes. His mom showed up and the father was a no-show. Her child was very exuberant to tell her what we had done, but she acted like she couldn't have given a shit less.

I could really tell you some stories. I lost a well-paying job to a young female intern that was a recent college grad, when I was too busy for training interns. One of like three dozen VP's made it his project, but he didn't expend any energy with them. She got caught stealing my work, TWICE. She was going to get kicked out of the internship program (which led to a junior project manager gig), so she thought that pulling a MeToo would be better. I had proof that she was lying. I still got fired…

Live for yourself and make the best of it by listening to the mistakes we make and dont repeat them. That is some solid advice. I went through a car window, head first. I had to have 56 stitches to close the wound and you never caught me crying through the whole thing. The doctor doing the stitching was called away for someone else and when she got back, she asked me if I wanted more anesthesia, to which I said no. Everyone has to be a victim, nowadays. It's really sad that this happens more often than not. In my day, newborn boys were circumcised, but no one ever said a thing about it. In fact, I don't remember anyone even caring... at all.

I see posts like this, infrequently and it's always some kind of victimization. I try to explain that not having the foreskin attached, removes an environment that bacteria love to thrive in. I've never posted that without having some kind of negative feedback. I mean, good God, most of us have it done when we're a day old. I don't know what's happened to the younger generation. I'm from GenX and I can't remember, ever, when being a victim was a trend. How many times do we have to post this?

Okay, you're going to keep it going on ... I'll continue it. If someone has a difference of opinion, out comes the insults and the name-calling. I'm so tired of coming here and putting out a difference of opinion and you all just can't even bend a little. I try to put out respectful comments, even after being insulted, and you still continue with the insults. Until you grow up, nothing will change. It's funny that you chose to use the word, "perceptions". That term implies that you could have a way that you deem to understand something, as do I. "Safe space" was not a term that was used when I was growing up. Men in my family did not talk about their problems. Men did not have to go looking for somewhere "safe" to talk, we talked where we wanted to. Men also didn't have the issues that they do now, like being afraid to approach women or get hurt from being rejected. The perception of men n…

I get what you're saying, but usually harm is committed as an ongoing situation. Killing someone would mean that she would have to find another "victim", too. You would think that would be crazy (no pun intended), but nurses have been doing that for decades.

There are instances of prenups getting revoked because women are claiming that they signed them under duress... and judges are supporting them. How would you like to be these men, thinking they're protected then finding out that they're not. The only way to win the game, is to not play it. Don't get married. Don't have children.

I lost a well-paying job to a false accusation in the MeToo era. I'll keep it short... It was an intern that I was forced to take on and she stole my work, twice. I had proof that she was lying and my (female) regional manager knew what was going on and stuck up for me. She was in danger of losing her valuable internship and instead of taking accountability for what she did, it was easier to point her finger and lie. In the end, it didn't matter at all. The Fortune 100 company that I was with wa…

My maternal grandpa came over from Germany. He passed the naturalization exam while learning to speak English. He started here, driving spikes into rails for the Penn Central Railroad. From there, he worked all the way up to conductor. He was 5' 4" and there was nothing that he couldn't do. All of the men in my family were excellent people. I think I am who I am because of them. I have strong values and an excellent work ethic. I miss them all.

Another topic that is being "missed" is that an overwhelming amount of women are no longer caretakers to their elderly parents and men step in to pick up the slack. I've been taking care of my elderly mother for more than 23 years and it has devastated me. I have chronic pain in my legs from never getting any rest, having to take care of her household and mine. She constantly does things that she shouldn't and winds up in the hospital and rehab homes. I lost 80 pounds (from depression and just n…

Oh, I'm sure if there weren't so many TV shows in the past, people would have them all banned. I have many shows/movies that people would find offensive, in my home library. Who cares what people think of them? Really. There are bigger fish to fry than worrying about this.

And the irony is, how often do you hear women saying that they want a guy to step in and be a "good father" to their child(ren)? You see way more women using their kid(s) out of spite. It's beyond crazy.

Short story: I was very close to my ex-g/f's daughter from 2 to 12 years of age. I tried to steer her on a good educational path. I tried to show her as much love as I could, even though she was not my daughter. Her father was not in the picture very much. He had the same attitude as her mother. One evening, the ex wanted to get back together and I told her that I loved her daughter for herself, not for the ex. The ex lied to her daughter, the daughter for some yet unknown reason believed her, a…

My mom is a narcissist. You wouldn't believe some of the things that I had to hear growing up. My dad was my hero. I honestly believe that he saved me from my mom. He died at 64 years young. I can't help but think that she killed him early by sucking out all of his spirit and soul. My very first girlfriend turned into a whore and that, combined with my mom's actions, made getting married and having kids look very undesirable. I should have thanked them.

You know what's really disturbing? Men in this sub insult, and sometimes feels like they hate, each other. Sometimes, people have differing opinions. That's what this sub is for, for men to have discussions. If you've come here to insult other men and/or degrade other men, maybe you should go to some other sub. I originally posted, thinking that it was about another one of my friends. So if you get that post, it was an "oops". Last I heard, she moved out to California with some guy, only to use him for somewhere to live. It was at that point that I didn't want to know any more. It was so disheartening to know that I put all that time, energy, and love into her and in the en…

I agree. I compare love to being on an addictive substance. There are quite a few neurological things that go on that you couldn't change if you wanted. When it's ended, it's akin to being addicted to a drug and suffering withdrawals. However, I agree with the top poster, "It's best not to play." After you do it a few times, it gets easier to pre-emptively say no.

Congratulations, sir! I always like seeing the occasional good post, when there are so many bad posts. Quite a few of my friends have gone through a rough road like this. The first thing in a potential divorcee's handbook is to get a PFA on him. I've heard this way too often and I've even seen it on the internet from these female divorce lawyers. My city used to assign them with no proof whatsoever. However, last year that changed. Proof has to be given now and the number of PFA's have declined …

It wouldn't be prison, it would be holding. Most crimes where people are put in holding are determined by the severity of the justice system. Her felonies are Class E. Felonies begin with Class A, then degrade by letter... A, B, C, D, E. You get the drift, I hope. She doesn't require holding, due to the severity of her felony. You may not like it, but that's the system. I am not a misandrist, I'm only pointing out how the system works.

She was released on an appearance ticket and ROR. That most likely means that she showed up and proved that she wasn't a flight risk (potentially). While I agree with you, that there have been some judges that have imprisoned men before trial, this usually occurs per judge. We've all seen how crazy some judges can be. I particularly have a good laugh over how some district judges think that they can overrule the POTUS. However, they are supposed to follow the Constitution of the US and that is, …

Yep, I believe that the government is changing the laws about no-fault divorce and the 50/50 split child support cost (which is really 100% for the man), because they want men to come back around to marriage and child creation. However, I think it's already way too late for that. I guess we'll see.

I get it. Luckily, I don't take much offense from most things. However, I think that "morality" is highly subjective. What some people may find moralistic, others may not. I don't know if I mentioned it here or not, but my parents were 11 years apart; my mom being the older one. They were married for 36 years and it only ended because my dad passed away. I mean, 26 years is far from 11 years, but I think it still covers the same view(?)

It IS a big deal to me, and as others have posted, it's a big issue to them, too. However, the route that I usually take with the most success is, I just say, "We're both consenting adults." After I say this, you can see the wheels turning, because they're expecting some kind of drama to occur and when it doesn't, they're usually confused. I relate it to classical conditioning.

Eh, it's just not worth it for a couple of reasons. I don't want to look different than how the g/f views me now. I don't want to goad these women into becoming physically violent, because you know that happens all of the time, too. It's easier to just say something mature and while they try to figure out what their next move is going to be, pass them, and walk away. Thank you for your feedback, though. I appreciate everyone that is trying to help me here.

I completely agree with you. I'm pretty sure that I'm safe in saying that the majority of guys will say that it's envy. My mother once said, "Just because you think it, doesn't mean you have to say it." Someone had brought up that I was targeting women with my post. While that may look like it's true, the fact is that we pass men AND women, however 100% of the time, the men just nod and we walk by. It's the women, 100% of the time that just can't keep their mouth shut. It's extremely uncanny.

And like crabs in a bucket, we bicker amongst ourselves when all the evidence points to those at the top You know, that's what bothers me the most. I said it was about women because we pass men and they don't say a thing. It's 100% both ways. I would say that makes it a valid issue and no "assumptions" exist. If you're going to post a link on scientific study and a situation exists where the data is 100% one way and 100% the other, I believe that fits the narrative.
/r/MensRights11/10/25 10:28 PM

They can assume all that they like, but you don't need to be rude and condescending and make it verbal. We're only people passing each other on the sidewalk and they have to make it an issue? Just keep your mouth shut and walk on. Sure, you have freedom of speech but what bothers me is you opening your mouth is legal, but if I punch you in the mouth for being a bitch, I go to jail. Honestly, I'm constantly disappointed about how politics has more commonly about the left versus the right. What ever happened about making life better for the American citizen? Why do we even need Congress any more? They do nothing. They yell and point fingers at each other, but nothing ever becomes of it. Everyone loves Ted Cruz and John Kennedy. They make convincing arguments, but nothing is ever made of it. That's all they do is talk! The military isn't getting paid because they all act like…

This isn't specifically addressing the TEA app, but any online presence. I recently had a young woman get upset with me because I wanted to end our, um, tryst. I'm not into social media. I don't contribute much to it... like several comments here or there on a couple of platforms. However, she's on Snapchat, X, Instagram, FB ... all of that crap. I am seriously concerned that she's probably shit talking me everywhere that she can. I don't want to have to make accounts to check everything because…

You're going to have to translate that for me, or at least make some kind of euphemism, please. I'm fairly old and honestly, I just don't care about keeping up with every new acronym that comes out every other day. Does it have to do with a sore throat? ;-) I'm not sure where you're leaning with your answer, but I will add this... knowing what my OP said, what would you want to pull you out of a burning building, male or female? That is, of course, a rhetorical question.

I may take heat for this, as it's a fine line and I'm sure that there are other things that are not transparent about this. I see women come in here and try all kinds of things that men would not be allowed to do in the various women's forums. I would like to think that we, as men, are pretty open to a lot of their opinions. We don't blindly see a woman, scream misandry, and block/ban them. I applaud all of you that do that. If we hate women, we are no better than they are. I recently saw a post…

Exactly. As I posted above, "they" are lowering the bar for female firefighters to get into the ranks. Men don't want women in their teams, and it's not because of what women think (sexism), it's because they are a risk to everyone around them for a number of reasons: weaker, slower, and the worst of them all is that they don't think on a logical plane. When I was being certified for interior firefighter, we had to go into a burning house, and prove that we were worthy of being certified. One wo…

When I was testing for interior firefighter, men had to carry a 12-foot aluminum ladder, one lap around a fire department garage, without touching the ground. Aluminum ladders flex, so you're fighting that, plus carrying it. Women got to carry a four-foot ladder and they got to put it down as many times "as needed". Men had to drag a 160-pound sand dummy, 100 feet in a fixed amount of time. Women had to drag a 60-pound dummy, 25 feet (I think?) and take as long "as needed". After watching this b…

Yeah, I give credit to Trump for fixing (or trying to) a lot of the things that damage men, due to divorce and/or having children, but unfortunately the real solution is still not getting into either of those situations. I usually date and find one so screwed up (although I believe they're all like that now), that I stop dating for awhile. Then, I'll go a while and date again. However, I do find now that the intervals between dating are getting longer and longer. Solipsistic - Thank you, I learned a new word today! Here is a quick story of my own. I met a young lady, largely by accident, in my bar one day. Now, it's expected and they'll let you know it, in no uncertain terms. That rudeness has changed my whole perspective. I won't try to split a date 50/50, I just don't date at all. If you think that a woman is going to have a piece of advice that will benefit a man's position, you're going to be mistaken most of the time. People have opinions that are formed from their own personal experiences. What a woman experiences in this world now, is FAR from what a man experiences.

You don't find that comment, passive-aggressive? It's like saying it the other way, without saying it the other way. "Out of all of the population in the world, I'm sure that one person will find you attractive." How do you find that positive?

I don't even know how the moderator can keep on doing this show. You can tell that it's eating him up. How many women does he get on that show, that sides with him? It has to be <1%. And when those women do side with him, the rest of the kangaroo court bashes her. I watched a couple of those shows, but then stopped. You really only need to watch a couple episodes to confirm what you've been thinking all along. After that, you're just abusing yourself.

For the most part, I don't believe people even "choose" to have children. A vast majority of children are born when people don't even consciously choose to have children. This is going to sound cruel, but most children are born by "mistakes".

But it still carries the threat of having to pay child support if she leaves you. I do believe that a man should have to pay some kind of stipend for his child, however the way it is set up now, is extremely wrong. It is taken out of a man's paycheck, the state keeps a % of it, and it's meant to subsidize a woman's existence with no expectation of proof that it's used for his child(ren). There are so many things that are wrong with a marriage/child-bearing model in today's world, that until it c…

I find that there is a great disparity in people that believe MGTOW is "misogynistic" and being able to prove so. Some people love to throw the term, "misogyny" around and they don't even know what the definition truly is. Can you please tell us why you believe how MGTOW is misogynistic?

Thank you for your kind words. I do feel bad for the younger male generation in where they have to deal with so much in dating. Dating should be simple and not have so many "demands". I was thinking just the other day, whether this is one, or both, of the problems... Did social media provide the vehicle to let one woman come up with an idiotic idea and let the "snowball effect" carry it to so many others? Or, have women always been this way, and social media is just letting us see this now? Mayb…

I hadn't started thinking that I had a pony in this race until lately. I've never been rejected from just talking to women. I bounced for ten years. I don't have a six-pack, but I'm not obese, either. I've never been told that I'm ugly and I have dated my fair share of little hotties in the past. However, I find that women nowadays are just too much work. I began dating my first girlfriend in the late 1970's as a kid. I was a teenager in the early 80's and dating was so much easier back then. You're wrong and the problem is in thinking like that. No-fault divorces are becoming a thing of the past in Florida and four more states are beginning to abolish them, also. Lifetime alimony is on its way out in several states, too. Politicians are finally taking note that their workforce is going to be on the decline, massively, in the next few generations if they don't get people to start making babies again. Everyone here so far, has posted good advice. SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) is bad in the wintertime, due to lack of sunlight and staying inside because of the cold. Natural sunlight is needed, so if you can open up shades/curtains to get some natural light in. I was in a bad state at one time and I found that there are "natural light" light bulbs that you can use in the evening. It duplicates the wavelengths of light that occur in natural light and I found it did improve my mood.

This is a fair post and I'll respond in kind. When I was a boy, I loved my dad... everyone did. He was a great guy. When you're a boy and you have a great dad, you want to emulate him. Let's not forget the rise of the abolishment of the no-fault divorce. It's already been presented in Florida and is now being looked at in four other states. The government is very worried about the population and they HAVE to finally do something to make marriage/childbearing more attractive. It's tragic that the men finally had to take a stand for this to happen. Maybe things will get so insane that they will get better... one can hope.

Yeah, there's enough blame here for everyone. I admit that I had some fault in it, too. However, I didn't practice deceit, nor was I dishonest about anything to her. I can't say the same about her. We argued about it. She was in tears and apologizing to me, but I get really bothered when women do something vile and think they can be absolved from blame with just words. Once that original trust is gone, I don't believe that your apology is sincere... you know?

Sorry, it is a bit vague... but the main point about it is, one of the usual things about women not wanting to take personal accountability and putting the blame on the man to do it. I know that sounds cliché, but it is what happened.

That's what I was doing for a long time, too. It was funny because people would call me a "home wrecker" while completely forgetting that it takes two to tango. It was okay that the wife was doing it, but I was the ogre. My response was always, "If it's not me, she would find someone else." You knew that wives were never going to want to stay for the night. I've known these guys for over two years. We don't hang out every Sunday, but I have been to some of their homes and I have done them favors. I would think that would rate as "decent friends". There are a number of reasons of how your friends can betray you, but believing a woman blindly that they knew I was with, is just BS. It was a blatant lie that I would think that anyone with two brain cells to rub together, could see through. But, let's face it, we all know what clouded their judgment.

This guy has a rap sheet as long as my arm, too. It contains everything from summaries to felonies. She fathered two kids with him, too. That was a great choice o' dads. See, that was a thing with me, too. What could I expect for an endgame with her? A single mom with two kids and having that psychopath being able to be around, legally? I appreciate your optimism. I am older and I remember a time when dating was easier... way easier. Before the internet/social media came on the scene, women didn't have checklists, or at least that I know of. There was no "swipe right, swipe left". Right, like my female friend said about "shutting her down" in my OP. I always consider the first couple of weeks to a month, the "honeymoon period". It's where everything is fresh and you're interested in each other. Our honeymoon period was almost two months. Her personality changed when he came into the picture, so I think it's safe to say that he doesn't have a positive influence on her. But he DOES have an influence on her... so I'm out.

Of course, we don't talk about women, but anything else is fair game. When I was with her, my views never changed. Women use you like puppets in their hands and y'all are ok with it. I am definitely not okay with it. In one of my answer posts, I had stated that I was redpill (not dating) for four years. Then she came along and just slipped th…

I was going to follow up with, "It's funny how I was with her for two months and the only time that she says I'm making her uncomfortable, is when you pop up." But, at that point, I know logic is out the window with him... and for that matter, my "friends". The thing about my guy friends is that they all knew I wa…

In all honesty, people throw the term "incel" around a lot. I laugh when someone calls me that because I really do love women. Now, if I could find a decent one, that would be great. But, from my history with them, and all of the stories that abound here, I have little hope of finding one that would fall under my heading of "decent".

I had a stripper try to do this to me one time and this was long before the Bobbit incident. She used a pie knife and thank God I was young with good reflexes, but she still got me in the thigh. You would think that getting stabbed would sting, but it actually burns. She was screwing around with the kid next door, so I figured it was a green light to screw around with her ex-roommate and worst enemy. I was wrong. She said this and I don't think I'll ever forget it, "If you're not going to use it…

I'm definitely not closeted. However, I have dated a lot of less than desirable women in my time. I used to think that I don't pick well, but honestly, I don't think that there is a lot of quality people out there any more. That can apply to men and women, to be fair. Yes, I would rather be friends with men than women, because obviously men share more interests than women. That doesn't mean that I'm a homosexual, though. You're just kind of proving why I don't want to be friends with many women,…

The statute of limitations for a woman ruining a man’s life with a lie is two years. Yikes. Actually, the statute of limitations for a woman ruining a man's life, as in false sexual allegations, is zero. She can do it for her whole life. There is no statute of limitations. You got quite a roasting here OP. if a female friend had a tantrum I’m not paying for her, I’d probably pay and simply stop meeting with her. I agree with you on both counts.

Well, I guess you're like the dozens of others that didn't read my OP. As I stated, also in my OP, that I'm not interested in lunch any more. I was only asking for opinions on who should pay for lunch. I can't understand why so many people have lost reading comprehension. I said I wasn't going to answer any more of these statements, but it boggles my mind at how many people just jump to conclusions AND make ridiculous assumptions.
/r/PussyPassDenied11/09/24 11:19 PM

I agree with your point. Someone in this thread made a really good point to me and it hit home. I hadn't thought about it and sometimes that's why I ask for advice, others can see things that I do not.

I'm not going to explain everything to everyone on reddit. You can see what a debacle this thread has become with what little information that I did provide. This was a thread about who should pay for lunch and you, like many others, have turned this thread into something that it wasn't meant to be. Is that enough information for you?
/r/PussyPassDenied11/09/24 11:14 PM

No, as I've already said a dozen times, we were friends before we dated. We were such good friends that it became a serious relationship. I thought that maybe she hadn't changed in 20 years, but I was wrong.

Trust me, I am not interested in "banging her". Twenty years have not been kind to her. This whole post seems desperate to you because you're not mature enough to think that a woman and a man can be friends without wanting to screw each other. I almost feel bad for you.
/r/PussyPassDenied11/09/24 11:10 PM

I did ask her if her husband knew that we were going out to lunch and she told me that she tells her husband everything. What she told him or how she told him, I did not ask.

Thank you. I was thinking, "Why does everyone think that I'm only interested in sleeping with my ex?" I think it's because everyone thinks of still sleeping with their ex. Believe it or not, there are still some people that act like adults.

Right. I haven't been on blast yet and I don't intend to be. It's just another on my long list of reasons not to date any more. I was really interested in this 24-hour gym, but I declined it when I asked them what their policy was on cameras/recording and they said it's allowed. After everything that's been on the news, YouTube, TikTok, and any other media... you're still allowing recording? Hard pass.

I guess it's because we were good friends once. We got along so well that we started dating. I'm not going to go into why we stopped, because everyone will start commenting about that, too. I like having a difference of opinions. I don't get upset about it and women definitely have a differing opinion most of the time, over men. See, the thing is, I asked the question of who should pay for lunch or go Dutch? Now everyone has turned this into something like we're going to start sleeping together. It's disgusting that this thread has gone that route. It shows how most people think and they don't know everyone.
/r/PussyPassDenied11/09/24 07:27 PM

Right. I put that question in a previous comment. If I want to hang out with someone in person, does that mean that I always have to open my wallet?
/r/PussyPassDenied11/09/24 07:26 PM

So you're implying that I unknowingly reached out to her because she's going to want to start sleeping with me and I'm going to agree? Wow, you have some serious problems.

First, thank you for being one of the few positive comments in my thread. Second, I guess for the same reasoning for her being married and this not being a date, it should be Dutch. If I was paying for it, it would imply that it was a date. Third, I love the way that you are creative with the 50/50 route on your second story. I dated a barmaid and when we went to her bar, she paid for the drinks (discounted) and when we went to my bar that I bounced at, I paid for the drinks (discounted). It fel…

/r/PussyPassDenied11/09/24 07:13 PM

I put forth boundaries and she agreed. I figured that if she didn't want to talk, she would tell me. I'm not impressed with most women of this era. I'm not trying to hook up with her.
/r/PussyPassDenied11/09/24 07:08 PM
-49

I guess we all have different opinions. I told her in the beginning that all I wanted was a platonic friendship. She agreed. I figured what with those boundaries set, we could be friends. Do you think if a man and a woman marry, they should cut all ties with everyone?
/r/PussyPassDenied11/09/24 07:03 PM
1

That's fair.
/r/PussyPassDenied11/09/24 07:02 PM

Because I would like to have one female friend in my life that I can converse with. Men don't have opinions like women. I like to have a variety of conversations. Maybe I figured wrong, but we were very good friends before we started dating. We both found out, after a year into the relationship, that we wanted different things.
/r/PussyPassDenied11/09/24 07:00 PM

Yet, she replied that she wanted to go out to lunch. We're both consenting adults.

Like I said, we were very good friends before we started dating. Does being married make you dead? That's an honest question because I don't know.
/r/PussyPassDenied11/09/24 06:57 PM

I can see that I'm going to be copying and pasting this a lot. If someone asked me if I'd like to go out to lunch, I would expect that I would be paying for my own lunch. If someone said, "Would you let me treat you to lunch?" Then, I would expect someone else to pay for me. It's never implied. If you do think that it's implied, that's pretty selfish thinking. So, you're saying that if I want to meet someone in person, I better be ready to open my wallet?

I figured that three tries was a good "test". I've dated quite a few women and I've never wound up with one that I'm still in a relationship with, obviously. I could be a common denominator, but it takes two to tango. It's hard not to generalize when every woman that I've ever been with, expects the man to pay. It's why I've stopped dating. It's just too expensive. I've asked a couple of women to just come over and watch a movie. Without fail, they say, "I'm too cheap." Maybe the law of averages…

I've been very picky, even when I was younger. It's funny now that I'm older, even though it upset me when I was younger how, if you didn't pick any woman they would insinuate that you were gay. I'm not saying this to insult men, but I believe that men really are the problem and that's why we are where we are now. If most men could control having sex with anything, a lot more women would be realistic. I say this from seeing some of my male friends sleep with anything, and I mean anything. I've c…

I agree. I would have thought he was going to pick Ramaswamy. He's intelligent and I think he falls fairly in the moderate range. I thought that he would appeal to the younger crowd. I've been fairly sure that Trump would win, but I couldn't believe how many lies Harris told last night in the debate. Trump tried to counter them, but the moderators didn't seem to be neutral. I also wondered about Trump's VP choice. Vance had previously insulted Trump. I would never pick anyone that had insulted me, even if they had apologized. I was dating a woman for a year. I was going to school at nights, bouncing part-time, and working a full-time job. My only day that I had to myself if we didn't go out, was Sundays. I had two hours between work and school. It was a choice to eat or sleep and sleep usually won out. One day she called me to come over after work. I caved and went over. Chances are a judge won’t do shit and change he it so those people are SOL. From what I read, judges won't be able to side with women because it's a state statute. They're not federal judges, only state-appointed. You can bet some judge will try it and hopefully, there will be a stink about it. If a judge gets the boot from the bench, other judges will fall in line because their job > some woman's alimony payments.

I tried to post a couple of articles about this, but I keep seeing comments of people not equating no-fault divorce with permanent alimony. When you take away no-fault divorces, you can take away permanent alimony. From what I read, the most common alimony will revert to a "bridge the gap" alimony, where the ex will only receive alimony for two years. The courts have deemed this as plenty of time for the divorcee to get schooling/training to move forward in life. Of course, every woman is crying…

Glad you guys got a small win in Florida though by the sounds of it. It's a start and four more states are looking into it in the US, currently. Hopefully, it will pick up more steam. I honestly believe that this is a direct result of men not getting married and/or not having kids. They have to try to find out a way to get the train back on the tracks, so to speak. It's really sad that it had to come to this, but whatever works.
/r/MensRights04/07/24 11:09 AM

Negating no-fault divorce is essentially negating permanent alimony. To me, that's a win for men. I'll still always side on not getting married at all, but for the men looking down the barrel at supporting their ex-wife for life, I believe that any alimony that isn't permanent is a good thing.
/r/MensRights04/07/24 11:07 AM

I agree that I probably should have led with the second article in the header. However, no-fault divorce is what leads into permanent alimony. Taking that away and making someone state why they want a divorce, like a woman finding a new sucker, can potentially negate permanent alimony. Would you be more prone to agree with that statement?

Unfortunately, there will always be simps. Guys that have never had one woman pay him any attention, will think that she genuinely loves him. Only until guys can truly stand together, will any man's movement work. I've been at the sports bar, watching football and I see women trolling the bar, looking for their next free drink. Fleeing because of the danger. Modern weapons make fighting at least on the army side the most dangerous. There's nothing you can do about missile attacks drone attacks or rocket attacks. Even against artillery barrages the only thing you can do is get in your fox hole. Then there is air power and air supremacy. I agree with you up until here. I was watching, "American Graffiti" last night, a movie made in 1973. One of the scenes was where the over-18 guy was riding around with a girl that was underage. He got pulled over by the police and the scene had her saying that if he didn't say something, she was going to cry rape to the cop. That was 1973(!) and they were putting that in movies. I know it's only a movie, but the concept is in it. When did all of this garbage really begin?

I know that going to a search engine is so very hard for people like you, so I took ten seconds to do it. https://www.fns.usda.gov/snap/stolen-benefits I'm sure you'll say that's not good enough. If that's what you think, use a search engine and put in "food stamp fraud". Be informed, not influenced.

I've been binging lately on that show, "Hoarders". I find that about 25% of them are on "disability". I hear all of the time that people get so little from SSI, yet these peoples' homes are stacked to the roof with stuff. So yeah, I get it. ;-)

As many other stories go, my friend tried to do just that, to get his ex-wife to prove that she was spending his money on their daughter. She was out every weekend in new outfits, nails done, etc. All while he had to move in with his father to cut back for his child support. The judge told him, "to continue to pay his child support and don't worry what she is spending the money on". I can't imagine what goes through these peoples' minds.

It's only more recently (since the '90s) that the Republican party has turned against the working class. That's not true. There was a study done where something like 20% of people that received food stamps had no children and were able to go to work. The food stamp program needs to be cut back, as there is a ton of fraudulent people using it. Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid all have bipartisan support, but they need changes to stay solvent. https://www.cnbc.com/2022/08/03/changes-america…

I had a friend that spent around $15,000 in lawyer's fees to get his son back from his ex that was smoking crack and she was receiving child support from him. After months, he won full custody of his son. His son had an iron deficiency and needed an expensive formula. He tried to use WIC (Women, Infants, Children) to get the formula for his INFANT, but he was disallowed because he was a man. Now, THAT'S invasive.

I just don't get how women think this is okay. There were two posts here that were admittedly from women. Not one of them mentioned how they thought the mother was wrong for doing this, but demonized men. Like this one, below? Having differently wired brains does not mean men are consistently and thoroughly logical and take full accountability and women are illogical emotional, fools incapable of holding themselves accountable for their wrongs. That is a foolish, morally wrong, incorrect and reductionist claim. Surely there would be something in regards to a parent posting an underage child online? There are plenty of websites that post disclaimers of being so old to view the page. There is a 31 y/o woman moving in next door to my mother's house. I met her because there was a property line issue. We solved it and later, she had asked my mom for my number. While everyone shares the blame here, the men overwhelmingly get the blame. Look at the very first comments at the bottom of the article. Right? Dating has gotten so disturbing now, what with making a move on a woman can result in a harassment/stalking charge, that no man wants to take that chance. I know this is supposed to be about women, but what about our men that are going over there? I agree and you can also add that the prison system shouldn't be an ad hoc mental institution, either. The big question is... where do you get the money? Do you raise everyone's taxes? How would that go over? Again, to reiterate my main point... how about not doing anything that will put you into that position, i.e. going to prison. People obviously don't like that statement, but it's the truth, whether you want to agree with it or not.

He didn't deserve it, but let's face it... people know that rape goes on in prison. Wouldn't you think that would be one big deterrent to going to prison? Theft under $5K, that's not stealing a candy bar from Walmart. It's like these people that get tased/shot in the commission of a crime. If you don't put yourself in that place, those things won't happen. Don't condone crime by saying that you can be in prison, but everything should be hunky dorey. It's prison.

The thing that I find funny, and not the haha kind is, it took men to give all of these minority groups the places they are now. As a thank you, they all turn around and destroy us. I can't understand why they're still doing it. Stupidity is everywhere, I guess.

I don't even date any more. Why bother? It's just a drain on my resources. From the very first date, they're sizing you up for marriage. I don't want to get married, nor do I want children... especially someone else's. You get married, you become their ATM's.. during and after marriage. And oh yes, when they get bored of you, they WILL divorce you, and they WILL take your money. You're obviously stressed out about it. Why do something that stresses you out?

I know, right? Even though my parents were married for 36 years, until my dad passed away, at some point they slept separately. My mom didn't like his snoring and my dad liked having the whole bed to sleep in. Whatever works, lol.

As I was told a not very short time ago, everything that you put on reddit is for public discussion. I didn't give a shit about the divorce. It disturbs me that women that enter a marriage with nothing should come out richer than they entered. However, I could see how a guy would get tired of you. If I were you, I would use the term "trolls" lightly. I've seen you post in this sub quite frequently and you rarely have good things to say.

The point that I was making and I don't disagree with your stance, was that this woman is playing the victim, having never had to lift a finger to make any money in the first place. It's akin to, "Oh, look at poor litlle me, I have all of this money and I don't know what to do with it." She never worked the whole time that she was married and now she divorces him, for no reason other than to divorce him, and she gets this huge payout. It's immoral and disturbing. Now, to address your stance. I a…

But also, if said lawyer isn't present to defend the document, it can get tossed in court. I think that's a fair statement, don't you? I'm not being sarcastic here, only factual.

What with all of this about prenups, let's address why a man would get married in the first place. Nothing in marriage benefits a man... nothing. It doesn't make a woman any more faithful to him. Why would you even need a prenup, if you're intelligent enough to not get married in the first place? When my girlfriend wanted me to marry her, I equated it to extortion or an ultimatum, only for her company. It's pretty much akin to prostitution. Why should I have to give her my paychecks and/or futur…

Thank you for stating that. I thought I was the only one that knew that. Prenups ARE getting thrown out continually and the only way to have a safe prenup is to not get married at all. I preach not getting married all of the time. I don't pass on mass media, I only preach what I've personally experienced. While never being married, I've seen my friends get married/divorced and get literally raped in divorce/family court. They're reduced to tears while their ex-wives walk out on them smiling all …

I see these marriages that the baby boomers have and they're like 50 or 60 years, some are even more than that. I think, "Sigh, things will never be like that again... never." It's disturbing to think that some people actually married for love and that they stayed married through thick and thin. Now, it seems like women marry men for a life insurance policy and if you lose your job, you can count on a divorce coming shortly behind that. I don't hate women, but I hate the mindset that women hold …

But, here we are and that's just how it is. I could mention many more things that I'm not crazy about how things are now, but I'm sure you get the point. I tried going to a meeting of people for being a caretaker for elderly people (my mother). I got there and the whole group was women. I thought, "Oh, this should be great." I don't see what the problem is. Women claim that men are misogynistic, toxic assholes. Men can be accused of rape with no rape kits and a false accusation. As a result, men are largely becoming not so interested in them any more. Now, they have a problem with it. Women started getting men wrongfully terminated at work, only because they could with no proof. Men stopped talking to them at work and helping them at work. They want equality too, so why help them? They should be doing their own work…

That's what I thought at first, but a lot of the other posts about giving the wife money one way or the other, so the civil suit vultures don't get it, holds weight too. There was a false rape report at one of our local colleges about ten years back. A young man and a young woman, both students, were caught having sex behind a dorm in the summer. Campus police said the woman started yelling rape, while the man claimed it was consensual sex. He was formally arrested, then his family posted bail, and he was released. Everyone turned against him. First, he was kicked off of the soccer team, then expelled. He lost his job. This was all before his preliminary appeara…

Yeah, you'd think they would leave comments open since that's generally the way everything leans. Let her live so she can tell every woman in prison how bad he was to her and how he deserved to die. Of course, that's probably the general opinion in a women's prison, too.

Misandry is a term that's flung around like candy at a parade. I've been called a misogynist for a number of reasons, and rarely are they ever correct. Also, bassdude is correct. Feminists want all the benefits of equal rights as long as they get to pick and choose what benefits they are.

Washing the clothes is a common complaint. You sort the clothes or do everything on cold, throw them in the washer, shut the door, and wait 30 to 40 minutes. Take them out, throw them in a dryer on optimum heat, wait another hour, take clothes out and fold them. Time it takes, roughly a couple of hours. Time spent on actual work, around 15 minutes, tops. The rest of the time is spent on their phones and/or television.

The thing is I have no fun hobbies or bonding situations to offer him. Then find something that you can both be mutually interested in. Now are the times that you need to start bonding with him and gaining his trust. When he becomes a teenager, he's going to want to start hanging out with people his own age and most likely, start dating. His friends will tease him for "hanging out with dad". But, you have the power right now to curb that and make it okay to hang out with dad. Have you tried to f…

I am reading these comments and people are thinking that this woman is from the US or England, and she is not. She's from Australia. The way that judges appear and how laws are handled are different there. I'm not saying that this woman isn't a child rapist that deserves a long time in jail, she surely does. I'm just pointing out a main fact. https://www.tyla.com/news/australia-teacher-monique-ooms-sentence-923658-20230310

Not knowing how much she put in, but I'd say it's safe to say at least two cup sizes... that would be like 1.78 lbs. That would be a rough weight to carry around your neck all day. However in my personal opinion, I think when women augment to her present size, it's gross and looks highly unnatural. I don't see how women go through a ton of plastic surgery and think they look better, either. But then, I guess they always think (incorrectly) that they can beat the wall.

You're right, it's not fair. However, that's not a valid argument for this discussion. Presently, you have two options: 1) Roll the dice and have a child (or children) with a woman and risk her not turning on you. If she does turn on you, prepare to lose a large chunk of money for at least 18 years. Prepare to have any visitation rights minimized or even nullified. She may even poison your child against you. There are some exceptions, but are you willling to chance all of your assets in that lot…

My preferred profile for dating women was petite and cute. I found that as I got older, it just wasn't worth trying to compete for their attention. Some men just don't respect other men and try to move in on other guys' dates. Even if a woman doesn't engage, she still loves the attention. I had asked one of my hot woman friends why she gets all dressed up/made up to go out, spending hours in the bathroom. She said that women like to look nice for their dates. Suspect, I asked if it was just for …

I agree about the critical mass idea. However, it seems like the younger generations are being affected largely. I try to reaffirm them that being a man is okay and nothing to be ashamed of. I tell them to stop looking at social media that berates them for being a man. They still get an unreasonable amount of child support. I say, "unreasonable" because I believe two people should support a child. However, when a woman and her lawyer go into family court, chances are nothing in there will be fair to a man. Fair would be the both of them contributing the same amount. She will contribute nothing and the man will have to either go homeless or live with his parents. Don't get married. Don't have kids. If you're okay with losing everything you have, well then go fo…

This is what really bothers me any more and it's a huge component of why I don't date, too. It seems to me like women don't have any emotional investment in relationships any more. It's all about "financial security". I realize that in olden times, it was that the man provided security, while the woman took care of the household. This is a fact that I found out the hard way. Women can accuse someone of sexual harassment/inappropriate behavior at any time in their life, even 50 years later after the supposed fact. The statute of limitations for someone to be able to defend themselves against a false accusation is one year from the day that you're accused. Bonus fact: Lawyers will usually not take false accusation cases against women because they are "largely unwinnable".

I don't wish him any bad tidings. I think it's safe to say that not all of us want families. I don't want kids and I've been very diligent in trying to keep that goal. I've even been lucky when I made a couple of bad decisions. I'll never get married, because I've even seen times when if a prenup wasn't well constructed, you could still get into trouble. Besides, what is marriage for a man? Where is the benefit for him versus just living together? I just find it... disturbing, when guys rant abo…

You know what's insane? These stories have been around for as long as I can remember and I'm in my 50's, yet men STILL get married. THAT'S what is insane. I was one of the ones that learned to never, EVER get married. I've had women break up with me because I didn't want to get married to them. Women will say, "Well, she should have broken up with you if you didn't want to give her a commitment!" I've always responded that living together without getting married is a commitment. I lost my job of four years as an IT administrator to a 23 year-old female intern. I proved that she was stealing my work (twice). She said that, "I was acting inappropriately towards her." I never met her in person, she worked at a site 500 miles away from me, I had three emails proving that she was lying, and had many of my superiors supporting me. My regional manager (also a female) told the legal department that the intern was in peril of losing her internship, so she concocted this to save …

It's hard to warn off younger people without sounding like an asshole. I always wish that people have good dating experiences. Eh, when you keep that area cool, it makes your swimmers more virile. When I was a bit younger, I would wear boxers for normal, every-day wear. When I went out on a date that I knew I had a chance of having sex, I'd wear tighty-whities. Underwear that allows your sack to be away from your heated body, allows your swimmers to swim better, be more virile, and increase the population of the swimmers. Underwear that keeps your sack closer to your heated body, retards your swimmers, reduces virility,…

Women want what they can’t have. This. I got so tired of dating. I usually dated small, petite women. I tried dating a "larger" woman and I found out that she was worse than the other women that I had dated. This led me to one conclusion... they're all the same. I'm in my mid-50's and I've had three serious relationships. I was the one that was screwed over in all of them. I'm done. I buy this coconut oil at Dollar Tree because it's good stuff and you can't beat the price. Right on the label, in small bold text it says, "From a female-owned company" This pisses me off. Could you imagine the uproar if there was a banner on the front saying, "From a male-owned company"? I figure DT is selling it at their prices because the company has to sell it in lots to make any money. So yeah, more power to your "female-owned company". Geez.

Males project more confidence and other personality-driven attributes, to create attractiveness. Ergo, women can only count on their looks and no other attractive attributes. Confidence and humor are two big "soft skills" that women tend to relate to attraction. It's sad that personality traits take a back seat to how much money you make/have.

She was probably a sun-worshipper, too. She comes up to me and says, "Do you remember me? You asked me out a couple of times, but I always turned you down? Well, I've decided to give you a chance now." I laughed in her face. Wow, I did ask her out a couple of times, but thankfully she showed me what she was, opposed to who she was. N…

When I was in my 30's, I went back to college for the second time. I was bouncing as a second income, as I also had a full-time job. I started dating someone and I didn't have a lot of time for her, but we got along great, and became monogamous (or at least, I did). Several months before graduation, I found out that my dad was going to die from cancer and they only gave him a few months. I shared this with my g/f, as I was devastated. A few nights later, we celebrated our one-year anniversary. M…

How about this statistic? I was in a discussion with one of my female friends yesterday and she thinks that I absolutely need to be in a relationship with a woman and I keep telling her that she's wrong. This is insane... 86% of single women have at least one child, according to the US Census of 2022. Personally, I think that number may even be a little low.

One time, I had a younger person tell me, "Your world is gone and it's never coming back." I swear he said it to be hurtful. I've found in my dating history that women are more emotional, where men are more physical. I don't consider myself ugly, but I'm no Richard Gere, either. I've dated quite a few gorgeous women and I don't think that a guy that is hideously ugly would have a shot at a woman like that, BUT I think if a guy is plain/not too good looking and has some personalilty qualities like humor, confidence, and good personal grooming, he has a better shot at a good-looking woman than a not-so-good looking woma…

Yep, this is correct. My mother was married twice and may have worked a total of four years of her life, in part-time jobs. She gets my dad's widow's pension (1/2 of what my dad would have gotten) AND since my dad worked mad hours, she also gets his Social Security payments, because his was higher and he died first. It was an injustice. My dad worked his ass off, retired for one year, then died. I still get upset, just thinking about it. He worked hard all of his life and didn't even get to enjo…

The only thing further left than reddit, is imgur. Both sites used to be a fun place to hold mature/helpful discussions. I'll make a thread and get logical, decent answers for about a half hour. Then, if someone even thinks that the thread isn't going their way, they'll draw in their brigade (and trust me, there are a lot of them), and as Mark Twain said, “Never argue with stupid people; they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.”

I wouldn't have any problem with women joining this sub, as long as they are intelligent and open-minded. I've found that a lot of women will have a one-track mind and be extremely disrespectful, without even trying to listen to facts and/or other people's opinions that may disagree with their own. It's nice to know that you even think like that. I'm pretty confident in thinking that all women keep that in the backs of their heads.
