Straight guy here, I've seen that strange hostility from other straight dudes when somebody is too friendly with them for their liking. Some dudes are just weird and unfriendly like that. And admittedly I've had to be aggressive with gay/bi dudes who were clearly hitting on me and didn't take no for an answer, but that's a whole different situation, I don't think it's common enough to justify the hostility you get.

I've seen a bit of focus on men in India and Asian countries here. It does focus on white men more than minority men, but only because most people here are white men. Of course, many or most of men's issues span over all races, so I'm not sure if there's any specific racial issues you want to see addressed?

I never was into it, but avoid MGTOW. It may have originally had good intentions, but it's largely been taken over by people with varying degrees of sexist beliefs. The idea of "Avoid women at all costs because they're dangerous/problematic/bad for you" is depressingly common there.

If you look at this one case, you're right, it alone isn't likely to be relevant to men's rights. If 80% of child rapists got their sentences reduced when their victims are boys, and only 15% when the victims are girls, that might make it a men's issue. A lone drop of water does not indicate a flood, but when your house is floating down the street, it isn't hard to tell.
