What do you think of the aventus? Tried a sample of it and couldn't figure out the hype behind it. Thought it was a little underwhelming

I was always scared to tell women I didn’t want to be in a relationship. I thought that they would flip out on me and tell me I was an asshole. This never happened. When did you feel like an appropriate time to tell them? Third, fourth, fifth date?

Then these people should leave the sub if they get hurt from seeing these comments. There's no half-measures in dating. Behaviors are so hard to change, especially when your deepest anxieties and fears about yourself come to the forefront every time you put yourself out there. We need unfiltered, straight to the point advice like this.

How is meetup.com? Do you feel like it's pretty effective for gaining new friends? I have no problem getting to know people, but more than anything, I want a stable group of people I can hang out with and rely on.

I have obsessive one-itis and wish I can live life on my own terms like this guy. I'm tired of letting one girl decide my own happiness. I absolutely admire people who let go of approach anxiety and just walk up to strangers and chat.

I understand that, but we're all social creatures and by that nature we like to gossip. If she likes you, she will tell her friends if she likes gossiping. Don't blame her either. It will be out of pride and she will like to brag about how cool you are

Why do you care what they think of what you would say? In fact, why should you?

I don't know why I have to explain this but it should be obvious not to be overbearing with your touch so as to not come off as creepy, but touching her lightly on her arms, shoulders, back, and maybe hips can do you wonders by keeping you out of the friend zone and have yourself perceived as an object of sexual desire. And you don't have to say anything to touch her...it should be as simple as placing your hand on her back when you guide her through a door, having each others legs touch when yo…

Yeah, this. Be polarizing. Take risks. Use your hands a lot on first few dates.

I hope this gets answered since this is exactly how I feel too. Strong foundations but don't really know specifically what areas I need to focus on the most

I feel like I would just come across as a creep if I said this. I guess I'd try it with a girl id feel really comfortable with before a second or third date. But you got some serious balls OP. How often does this work?

She has a boyfriend. Leave her alone for christs sake.

I think this is the best advice here. Watch Louis CK and listen closely how he tells his stories and embellishes his situational descriptions. He makes anything and everything fascinating. I imported some of my humor from this guy.

I think you should once every other few days or so. Keep it lighthearted. Ask her how her trip is. Let her know that you're still interested despite the fact she's away for two weeks, but obviously, don't overdo it. If she's the talkative type, you can text at her pace, but if she's not, then don't text often.
