I second this! I’m pretty outgoing, love conversations and can be perceived as having a strong personality. But despite all that I’m traditional and I gave meeker men a shot, BIG MISTAKE. Didn’t work out at all cus I had to make myself small so they could seem more dominant TO ME. Then when I got tired of that they didn’t know how to handle me. Get yourself an outgoing guy that’s sweet. Problem solved.

Takes two people to have sex, remember that. Sex is about pleasing each other and not only yourself. This applies to your husband as well. There will be times when he’s not in the mood nor you. Also just because men generally have higher sex drives doesn’t mean men (who are mature and grown) think with their dicks 24/7. Sex is part of your marriage not the whole.

She’s mad cus you’re taking her husba- cough sorry meant her son. She probably knows just as you do that a proposal is around the corner which means you’re going to replace her as number one. You stated that your bf said if you guys fight again he won’t intervene and honestly that sentence says a lot. He should be the one coming between you two and laying down the law with his mother. Either way at least he doesn’t side with her. Stand firm and good luck!

Girl both of you are GROWN so dig and find out what it is you would like from a relationship. From there, make your intentions known to your bf even if it has changed and see where’s his head is at. If at the end of the day you want to be married and he doesn’t then decided whether you’re willing to forego it or not. As for other things that can solidify a relationship outside of marriage, I doubt that if you want to be married there would be anything less that would do the job. TLDR - take the …

I loved in Japan and loooooved their fashion and how modest it is. I bought a bunch of stuff there before coming home. Uniqlo US has a good online store and Muji is good too though a bit more expensive. There’s also a brand called Sly that makes cute sweaters but I can’t find them anywhere..yet. Beware that a lot of Japanese fashion tends to skew shapeless at times.

I’m a light sleeper and my SO snores. I had piss poor sleep when we moved in with each other, so he started sleeping on the couch. That wasn’t fair to him every night so I take melatonin and play white noises that drown him out. But rest assured as soon as we can afford to fix up our guest room with a bed, I’m going to sleep in it. My SO was hurt in the beginning too but he really saw that I wasn’t getting a lot of sleep so then he became more compassionate. Sleep is very important and integral …

They’re kids but they’re still their own individual person like adults. There’s ppl out there that don’t do well with people they don’t know in social settings. Same with kids. My sister loves talking and making baby noises at everybody’s kids. Me? I don’t know them then I don’t know them lol. Also, why I gotta interact with relatives kids when there’s like 20 other adults including that kid’s parents in the room?!?! Does this mean I hate kids? Nah, I used babysit family as a teen or even now if…

No because your partner cannot and will never fulfill you. Also, God forbid your partner dies then what? You still have the chance to meet another person. Though of course this dependent on your personality and other factors. Note especially for Christians (bring this up because you mentioned God), we are told there are no marriages in heaven but that does not mean you cannot take care in finding a mate that you decide each day to commit to. Small rant before I finish; some ppl think the whole y…

I’m not from an Arab country but I don’t think anything is wrong with it all. People are sometimes burdened with too many choices. And if parents from a culture that do it with care then why not? I know it’s not the same but haven’t people been doing blind dates arranged by friends and family for a minute now? Also some celebrities have their manager set them up with other ppl as well.

You do what is right in the eyes of God regardless of what happens. Are you keeping your virginity because you want everything to line up and be perfect or are you keeping your virginity because God says sexual immorality is wrong? You're seeing the fall out of someone committing that sin right in front of your eyes now with your mother. Bear in mind, I'm using this line of reasoning because you said you are Catholic. Everything you are saying I said myself at 18 and lo and behold, it was a trea…

Barring anything extreme like abuse, what would constitute a dealbreaker to leave a marriage that you can’t find out while in a courtship? During the courtship you get to know each other’s beliefs, life plans, etc. So when you take the vows you then in it to win it kinda thing.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
