I'll keep an eye out for Salsa clubs, then! Yeah, people tend to gravitate toward interests they share with their gender. On my end, I notice that yoga, pilates, and dance lessons tend to be overwhelmingly female (i.e: ballroom, tango, etc.) along with places that offer horseback riding or ice skating lessons. Go figure. Thanks. You too! Appreciate you taking the time to help me out.

Really appreciate the feedback, and definitely appreciate the advice. What are some interest-based groups I should look at that have a more balanced gender ratio?

If he pulled open his phone, that's a sign that I should leave him alone, correct? And yeah, the conversation was very one-sided. Oh well. I mean, it sucks, but I just hope I learn enough from this experience to do better next time.

I'm not worried about being seen as a physical threat. I'm worried about being seen as pushy (which is unattractive), having no boundaries, etc. Also worried about giving the wrong impression. I need to approach guys because I don't get approached. It's less about gaming and more about trying to send signs of subtle interest so that the conversation/approach that follows doesn't come out of left field, you know?

At first I thought this was a Writing Prompt. Then I thought, "Oh, shit."

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
