Let it go. Don't let that teacher play on your mind. It sucks people like that get to manipulate their students but you got out of there in one piece. Just focus on yourself, figure out what you want and go for that

Some good points, think she got Game of Thrones a bit wrong. Daenerys does have magical powers, and born to entitlement, but she also suffered, made sacrifices, faced trials and succeeded where others failed.

True, and it's often the upper class women, who have had it easier than any namable group in western civilisation, that target mens clubs. Even back in the 1700s they got coffee houses banned in England because they claimed their men would stay out to long/late and then "could not perform their duty" when they got home. So what I'm saying is: The heading of your post implies that the treatment of each case was based on the gender of the perpetrator - so it was sexist discrimination that lead to different outcomes. But the circumstances of each case are significantly different, so it's not surprising that the outcome is different. I'm not going to argue wether each outcome was the correct one or not, but there's no way you can claim this is a gender issue for these cases. If you want to actually see sexism in th…
