It's an interesting article; I hadn't seen it before. I kinda wish someone could re-write it, though. It's wordy and even the opening sentence is a run-on. I think there's some good info here, but has a few too many SJW buzzwords (who says "problematizing" in everyday speech?). Some examples would be nice. They mention Tasers, but then go off on some tangent. Anyone volunteer to edit this?

"A Sugar Daddy is not an old, lecherous, horny, old man," Wade said. Wow, he's not old, twice.

This article mentions that she used acrylic paint. What's not mentioned here, but mentioned in other articles, is that she deliberately used acrylic, knowing it was more difficult to remove.

You got your downvote. Prostitutes are trash? How's the view up there on your moral high ground? Or do you speak from experience? How many hookers have you been with to make this claim? I've been with plenty, including some pricey ones: very classy, dignified, educated young ladies. Not every hooker is a streetwalker with a drug problem and takes twenty dicks a day. Degrading? Explain that to me. Seems to me, when done correctly, it's a win-win. I get to spend a night with a beautiful woman (who…

Why does OP refer to God knowing that he can't write it down? I never understood saying "N-word", either. You know what word I mean, and I know what word I mean. We all know. Is this some kind of mass delusion that "N-word" is somehow better? For fuck's sake, OP, just say, "Praise Allah I'm free". It's Ramadan, you know.

Did the DJ play "Celebration" by Kool & The Gang? I did the whole 'wedding circuit' thing for a while when I was younger. I swear that tired old wedding reception song really irked me for all the reasons OP listed. It's emblematic for me now. It's the soundtrack of Hell. I swear if I hear it one more time, I will cobrastrike someone in the throat.

We're civilian contractors for a foreign military that just doesn't want the hassle of dealing with females. We're in the Middle East. Not in the shit, but close. Housing was included in the package, a large villa. Not supposed to have booze here, but we sneak it in.

lawyers are often the ones trying to stop them from going to court. WTF? Are the Aussies retarded? That's no way to run a law firm. Learn from the Yanks: divorce lawyers need to encourage lengthy court battles. It's the only way to accumulate billable hours. Why would you suggest a settlement? A lawyer's job is to dump fuel on the fire. And for lawyers representing women, your job is to tempt your client with more money through litigation, which, of course, costs money. Duh.

In 1982, Clint Eastwood directed and starred in a film called Honkytonk Man. It's set in the 1930s. His real-life son Kyle was in the film as well. He was 14 at the time. In the movie, Clint takes the boy to a whorehouse to lose his virginity. Thinking back, the scene gets precariously close to child pornography. The boy cums while the whore is manually washing him before sex. She even tells him they need to wait a few minutes so he can 're-load' for sex, and they do. The scene ends with the boy…

but the agency said adding vehicle registration should shore up compliance. (emphasis is mine) Fine. How about we set a tangible goal, let's say 15% better collections due to this new law. And in 12 months, if the goal isn't reached, the law is automatically repealed? I think all laws should go like this (set a goal, and law is repealed if goal isn't met). Because otherwise, the law just becomes an unmanageable overstuffed seven-headed beast. Laws pile up. In this case, child support, it just bu…

Most gun owners are peaceful and law-abiding. But because a few are not, we need to ban or regulate them all. Most men are peaceful and law-abiding. But because a few are not, we need to ban or regulate them all. Most Muslims are peaceful and law-abiding. But because a few are not, we need to ban or regulate them all. I guess you can pick. Kindof a "fill in the bank" exercise.

The best part? The cat. Just as she sarcastically says, "I'll never get a man", we see that she's a Cat Lady in training. How funny.

Wow, I assumed from the post title that it was an Onion article, or something like that. Nope. Title is accurate. This is one of the few posts here that actually surprise me. On her wedding night. Can't make this stuff up.

What about General David Petraeus? He's still a good-looking man, dripping with Alpha-ness. His wife (who probably was cute when she was 19) now looks like she could be his mother. Then there's Admiral William H. McRaven's wife. Same deal. She was hot 40 years ago. Too bad these great men are locked-down, they could be out getting all the young tail they want after retirement.

How common is divorce? 50% + Somewhere in comedian Bill Burr's routine, he points this out. Then he asks, "What if you wanted to go sky-diving, and they told you only 50% of parachutes open...?"

quiet desperation A borrowed expression, but nevertheless perfectly appropriate. To keep quoting Brother Henry, "I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived." EDIT: Wow, have an upvote. That's a great summary. Hits too close to home.
