Lol... I left my ex last year (we are both 25) and I recently saw a photo of him - he went from receding hairline to completely bald on top. Poor guy. But he HAD Rogaine, was just too lazy to use it every day.

Ewww nooooo! Overweight women look FAR better than overweight men, imo. Men get a giant belly and it's just... blegh...

😭😭 I'm 25 and scared. This makes me want to sleep with as many high-energy 20 year olds as possible, LOL.

I am female and have never followed TRP. Lots of assumptions in here. It's not that deep.

Sorry that happened to you. :( relationships are so hard. I'm glad you're growing.

Fair enough. I didnt know the whole situation, so that's something I'd suggest for people who really did their ex gfs dirty.

It shows you care enough to do something. If my ex reached out to me via text or phone to apologize, I would be worried he was going to hurt me again or try to get me to feel sorry for him and absolve him of his guilt. With this, theres none of that. Just "hey, I'm sorry, here's something to show I care, goodbye."

If you feel like you need to make amends in a significant way, Venmo her cash with an apology attached to it... that will make a very big statement. I've heard from women before that this shocked them and made them think they truly changed.

Maybe you could start going for different kinds of women. Women who are confident and career-oriented. You can be certain these women aren't gold diggers, because, well, they don't need you to survive. If they like you for you, that's gonna be very easy to trust.

I'm really happy that you're thinking like this. I'm just a stranger to you, and you to me, but to have come out the other side of TheRedPill with a self-reflective, honest, and accepting attitude towards yourself is something to be proud of. I feel truly happy that you're considering allowing yourself to be vulnerable to a woman wholeheartedly, one day. It's out there. :) The fear of vulnerability you speak of in this post is one I understand totally. Sometimes (like in my experience), it can t…

Tangentially, I agree that JBP can get pretty dramatic with his condemnation of a small group in the radical left. But I can also see the slippery slope that it'll take us down if we don't make room for dissent, and reform universities. Ok, I hear you. I haven't experienced that as a woman. That sounds alienating indeed. I've studied a little about pickup artistry and it seems contrived, insecure, and ultimately isolating for all participants. I also agree the left treats men atrociously and I u…

Hmm. Ok. I can see how someone would interpret his lectures that way from first glance, but I think it's fairly topical. I also realize that men and women play different "games" and as a female, it's hard for me to understand that male competition. I dunno, man, I've found JBP extremely helpful for feeling like my life has meaning and for understanding my role in society without stereotypical gender roles. I also have found his lectures on Jungian psychology and Christianity illuminating and aff…

I'm not trying to trap anyone. I'm an ex atheist, ex radical left white female. On that sub they specifically discourage incel and RedPill type behaviour. I do see some people comment on there with those viewpoints but they aren't very popular. The main takeaways are: masculinity is valuable, but not at the cost of devaluing femininity; take responsibility for your own life and your own problems; life is meaningful, struggle is meaningful. It's helpful for men who need to reclaim their strength …

Good for you for having the self awareness to recognize this! AND you tried to apologize to her. You are a good guy.

I mean - don't be afraid of these thoughts, necessarily. I get the sense you're fearing backlash from people because of this post. Truly, there are many men who get those same thoughts. Don't beat yourself up, and be patient. Itll take some time to unlearn these things. You got this. :)

Hey! I appreciate your vulnerability. That takes guts. Those aren't very good thoughts to have, but it's understandable. Sometimes we get thoughts we don't agree with. When I get an intrusive thought, I notice it, then decide if I agree or disagree with it. This is called mindfulness. I recommend checking out the Meditation sub to help with this. It's a strange time to be a man. I sympathize. Times are weird, especially in the dating world. A tip that came to mind was to research women who have …

"Hey, girlfriend, what did you mean by [x action / x word]?" CBT is what a therapist would help you with, but I'll break it down. Essentially, you give people the benefit of the doubt. Girlfriend didn't smile at me when I walked in the door? She's probably tired. Girlfriend didn't laugh at my joke? Eh, better luck next time, I'll work on my jokes. Girlfriend and I are hanging out, and she's not talking much? She probably just doesn't feel like talking. If something happens repeatedly and you are…
