Your country is apparently democratic, even if it obviously isn't the best implementation. The countries you have mentioned mostly had a single strongman leader making it a socialist dictatorship most of the time, or a socialist plutocracy perhaps. Depends whether you consider them socialist cause they call themselves socialist, or actually socialist from a more social scientist perspective. Social programs generally have a net positive effect whenever applied intelligently. Just because dental and medical is not charged at the point of service, doesn't make it free.
