| 17 | Laws to protect men from paying child support for children that aren't theirs is now "slut shaming" and "punishing women"Yeah it is a lot cheaper than i had realized. I imagine if it became compulsory it would drive the costs down as well. | /r/MensRights | 02/09/16 02:52 PM |
| 12 | Laws to protect men from paying child support for children that aren't theirs is now "slut shaming" and "punishing women"I totally agree. See the other reply to my comment. I was more trying to make a point on how upfront costs to avoid later financial headaches adversely affects people who can't afford the upfront costs. Its kind of moot for this topic because i thought the testing was in the thousands of dollars and it is actually in the sub~500 which wouldn't sink the majority of working people. | /r/MensRights | 02/09/16 02:49 PM |
| 11 | Laws to protect men from paying child support for children that aren't theirs is now "slut shaming" and "punishing women"Oh for sure a DNA test will be cheaper than supporting a child for 18 years. Its just that for a lot of people that DNA test is out of reach financially so they don't get to pick their poison. Goes to show how being poor can really get you in the hole. When you can't afford upfront costs like DNA tests, legal representation, or doctors visits 'minor' financial hurdles wind up being vastly more expensive and leads to the poor staying poor. | /r/MensRights | 02/09/16 02:31 PM |
| 56 | Laws to protect men from paying child support for children that aren't theirs is now "slut shaming" and "punishing women"For a lot of people that's true, but for working class folks might as well be a million bucks | /r/MensRights | 02/09/16 01:23 PM |
