Because they are human beings capable of suffering, just like men. Somewhere along the line you've made the same mistake as many feminists, in that you seem to have sunk so much of your identity into sex-based victimhood that your perception of women as human beings deserving of respect and empathy has been eroded away, and you now instead see them as "the opposition" in this battle you're fighting. I get that there there will be some variation of beliefs among the adherents to any given ideology or movement, but that seems like a big enough point of contention that whether you’re for or against it should determine whether or not you’re actually a feminist. It’s kinda like saying some pacifists don’t believe in violence and some do.
