[Serious] How young is too young to date if you're not looking for your next wife? I'm 37Still, 30 is not 40 and you wanted a family, both of you. This guy doesn’t want a family, he just wants to waste some time together. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/06/24 08:43 PM
[Serious] How young is too young to date if you're not looking for your next wife? I'm 37Amen. Women of that age are generally looking for a long term partner (even if they claim they don’t and yes there are exceptions) and it’s the best time to have kids. Older men going after these women, doing relationship-y things even though saying you’re not looking for a wife (she can’t complain, you were clear about intentions, right), are wasting valuable years of these women. I was one of those women and I wanted to be cool and easy going because that’s how most of us were raised and I fel… | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/06/24 07:54 PM

Why does everyone call their ex a narcissist?I have no clue who that is - well, that’s the only line I needed to read because then you have no clue on what’s happening in the world of psychotherapy in conjunction with narcissism. Go watch and read her stuff and you’ll get it then. Good luck. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/06/24 09:50 PM
Why does everyone call their ex a narcissist?I know of narcissists who apologized. Then they expect the ex to forgive and forget and when that doesn’t happen they get vindictive. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/05/24 07:27 AM

Why does everyone call their ex a narcissist?I used to think my situation was normal. People on the outside who work on issues related to narcissistic people were all saying my ex is a narcissist. Now I understand why they could see it from miles away, I didn’t recognize the signs as well myself. I learned more about it and it makes it easier to heal and understand the way I react, trauma bonds for instance. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/05/24 07:23 AM
Why does everyone call their ex a narcissist? The need for diagnosis before you can say someone has narcissistic tendencies and the fact that you can be a victim of the kinds of behaviors attached to that, is long gone. Dr Ramani is one of those people shedding light on this. And the fact that so many people are seeing narcissists everywhere is because there is an untick in narcissist behavior because current day society encourages this behavior (and certain parents have screwed up their kids). | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/05/24 07:20 AM

Does anyone else get told this after the divorce starts?I don’t know but your answer sounds hotter and more sensible than that of dudes who sleep around so you’re already winning. And think like a teenager - there’s always places outside the house, a car, an open field, public places. Her house. I would just do what feels alright to you though. People seem to make a big deal of sex. My libido was high but my ex wasn’t into it as much as I am. So what does it matter if I’m celibate for a couple years? It’s frustrating at times. But it’s better to heal… | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/05/24 04:37 AM
