Safe to assume you have to go a few times before hinting towards the extras? I’d be so nervous I’d get trapped in some sort of sting or something lol.

I hear that. But also feel like I’m on the hook at this point anyways, as we’ve been married for over 10 years. Haven’t spoke to an attorney or anything but everything I see seems to comment on a 10 year line on how support is calculated. You think there would really be a significant impact between 11 years and 12 years? I guess all I’m saying is splurge a bit. Made up numbers here, but a lot easier to stomach splitting 50% of $30k vs $100k knowing i got to spurge a bit.

I think it depends on the reason for the divorce . Being in a dead bedroom myself it would be too hard to wait. Need to make sure it still works ya know 😂

My thought process was to have me be the one not to file (have her file) Just live life, do what I want and splurge. Then she files. Can’t be seen As me doing it intentionally if I had no plans to file.
