Saying you want to get involved in IT is like saying you want to Business...it’s vague. Do some research on the various subjects. Programming is a decent field, but if you’re not careful you’ll get thrown into a basement with other code monkeys and it can be tough to get promoted in. I would recommend networking or security with a solid background in cloud computing.

Soft next anyone who flat out doesn’t show up after making plans and committing to meeting you somewhere. That’s disrespectful to your time and by extension you. You shouldn’t reach out to her at all, the ball is in her court and she owes YOU a text with plans. If you reach out you come off as desperate and optionless. She will either reach out or she won’t. For me it comes from the understanding that I’m far from perfect, but also believing have skills and qualities that make me a man people should want to be around. I personally found it easier to internalize after browsing less social media. That stuff is seriously a scrolling highlight reel that doesn’t accurately portray ones life.

People on this sub take things too literally. It’s one thing if your LTR goes to the club without you every other week, but if you’ve been with this girl who you vetted and trust, so what if she wants to go to the club? By this point she should know what she has to lose if she fucks up (you).

If a girl wants to hook up, she will find a way too loved at home until I bought my own at 25 and I had no problems going back to a girls place. No one cares that you live with your parents more than you do This is within reason of course. If you’re living at home saving money you should be out of the house in your 20’s depending on whether you buy or rent.

when my ltr takes a trip, I always leave the ball in her court to reach out to me. It also makes her realize I’m off living my life when she’s not there and she will text me when she misses me. All of what you said is normal in a relationship and true. You should be a leader. Leaders listen to others. Give ground where you need to, remain strong in things you believe in. By continuing to maintain/increase your value in ways such as going to the gym or progressing in your career/education. Keep being the man she was attracted to when she first met you. However even with this, it is impossible to keep full attraction at all times. She will need you to have some “beta” qualities for you two to be in a LTR. As it has been told more times than I can count, LTR is TRP on hard mode. It is impossible to be 100% alpha in a LTR because you will have times where you are required to selflessly be there for her. Start making friends in your major, it will be important for networking later down the road. If you make 3 good male friends, go to the gym, and genuinely apply yourself in school, you will find 90% of your time living and enjoying life instead of being on your phone/porn. It’s easier to hide in your phone than it is to put yourself out there. You will face rejection. But after experiencing it, you will realize than rejection feels a LOT better than regret.
