Did Mark Manson distance himself from seduction? Yes he did. In a podcast interview with Jordan Harbinger, he specifically said that although the ideas might have been cool, he didn't like the pickup community and spirit in general. He says that Models was his sort of "Goodbye" to the pickup world that (paraphrased) tells us how to do all the stuff PUAs want to do but in a less scummy, more honest way. His second book (which I haven't read) ... It's exactly what the title says. Don't give a fuck…

How do you know they liked you if you never talked to them?

I ask this because I'm skeptical about wearing cologne. I don't really smell like anything and had girls attracted to me. I didn't really get much of a response when I bought and used a cologne that was highly-recommended on r/fragrance (and every fragrance article I read). I wore YSL L'homme for a month, no tangible results, and it might have even smelled musky after a while. I was thinking maybe just having good hygiene would be enough.

Have you ever had an experience where some guy just smelled TOO strong with cologne? (besides Axe)

Ah yes, the #1 most notorious/famous cologne on r/fragrance. I hear about that a lot. I also heard good things about Dior Sauvage (which OP mentions below) and YSL L'Homme. I bought YSL L'Homme but didn't really get any compliments from it, especially a few hours in when it got into heart-base notes. Still trying to figure this smell thing out.

I appreciate the thoughts. Random question: What if the cologne smells bad?

Typically, the girl gives the guy all the "green light" signals, then waits for the guy to make the move. The cuter/better-looking she is, the less likely she is to make the first move, and the more likely she is to rely on giving you green lights. You said she's both hot, and giving you green lights. That's as good as it's going to get. It's now on you to talk to her, and get her name and number.

The fact that "women have all the power" is the sub's common belief is the REASON why the sub is 99.9% male.

"Why do you look like you're paying more attention to me than the guy hitting on you?" Think through her responses for a minute.

Value and validation. You are just minding your own business not being needy or leaching in your value give to take ratio. So, are you saying she hasn't gotten my validation yet, so she places more value on my reactions since I don't really give a fuck? leaching in your value give to take ratio. This part kind of confused me. On a different note: the IOIs, it's really obvious and easy to see the "lead-on" traps with some girls. I find it harder to spot with the quiet ones. I appreciate that yo…

Explain. With some of them, maybe I was friendzoned. But many of the girls who did this to me ended up confessing to me sooner or later.

Lol I like how your phone already has responses laid out for you. It's basically what your phone and everyone else on this thread is saying: give her a message of finality (or none at all) and move on. You polarized her. She made it clear where she stood. You've filtered out someone who will waste your time in the long run.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
