1	Poll on Twitter: Is it ever acceptable for a man to hit a women in self-defence? I talked about physical retaliation. There is a whole lot you can do before punching in the face. It can be pushing, slapping, restraining on the floor / against a wall etc.... It depends on the level of physical aggression you are receiving and if the softer ones don't work (pushing etc...) and the violence escalates on the other side, you might have to resort to punches.
