I agree with this. My sister pointed me to a study recently that said men are more likely to leave an ill spouse. And while that might be true I put it into perspective for her that it’s not the rule across all situations. When I asked her well, why is it that 80% of divorces are initiated by women she didn’t have a response. So while one subset of those divorces may actually point to the fact that men are more likely to leave when a spouse is ill, it still doesn’t merit painting all men as terr…

I really hoped to eventually move to Spain but with the way things are going it seems like I’d be so incredibly foolish to do so.

Holy shit. How did I never hear about this happening?

Focus on what you can control. Don’t succumb to the victim mindset, you won’t find happiness there. You need a bro to chat with, I got you.

I'd rather not have a doodle. We don't need fake validation from a faceless organization.

Learn his love language. While sex and food are great it’s not the only form of intimacy and connection. You’d be surprised how much intimacy we lack in our lives and how much we yearn for it.

Because it’s true. In my most recent relationship I told my ex that I felt we lacked intimacy. She took this as me saying she owed me sex. When I explained in detail with examples what I meant she couldn’t repeat back any of those examples. When I stated that I really just wanted a night of quality time with her and explained why she flipped it onto me saying that I was expecting to be her only priority in life. When I gave her examples of things I’d stopped inviting her to or her lack of intere…

Learned a long time ago no one gives a shit. But you know who does? I give a shit about me. And I give a shit about my fellow man. Find your unit of equally aware men and focus your efforts on the parts of society that do value you. Here for ya, my guy.

Be the change you want to see in the world. One thing I learned in grief counseling is that my darkest times where when I was trying to find fulfillment in the bettering or, what I saw as the helping of others. It took away from the focus I needed for myself in my life. You have to trust that the adults around you are going to make adult decisions that are in their best interest. Eventually some of the people that don’t align with your values will eventually phase themselves out of your life.

The America First Legal Foundation filed the suit on behalf of a white male student who had been denied admission to all six medical schools. That student later obtained the race, sex, grade-point average and MCAT score data for every applicant he went up against, which proved he had both a GPA and MCAT score well above what many accepted minority applicants had. I’m a minority male and this infuriates me.

Lean into your masculine traits. It’s what makes us feel fulfilled. Focusing on the social noise is easy when it’s all around you. Stay off the social media.

Communicate with each other. I hate to make it sound so simple but even with communication, it’s a dance perfected over time..

I feel this so much. My mother and some friends constantly ask why I am single and when I try to explain that most women I date have become the men they wish to meet they don’t understand how that fundamentally breaks down a relationship. I’m a heterosexual male, I don’t want to date a man. And what’s worse is they lead with the desire to be taken care of by a man. Only once you’ve developed strong feelings and you start to establish boundaries and lead the relationship they find ways to break o…
