Woman, most of my friends in the military where men and most where more right leaning. Between that and most right wing people and politicians not ignoring military members changed my views politically. As far as feminism, I don't have issues with many "traditional" gender roles I also have issues with abortion and how people use it. But isn't that a problem more with moderation? If you moderate better and don't enforce that behavior wouldn't that be the best way to fix their warped mindsets?

When I was in highschool I was a feminist and pretty left leaning. Then I joined the military and lost most of my left leaning views. More recently in life I've realized feminism stoped being about being about equality and choice and kept making me feeling like a traitor to women for having different views and opinions then the majority of them.

I find much of that insulting. I very much have a "mate guarding instinct." When I find a guy that I treasure I'll certainly do my best to protect our relationship...
