I competed for my husband. He was still in contact with his ex when we started dating and I wasn't comfortable with their retained level of intimacy and requested he go no contact. She had a similar reaction to my presence. Admittedly he was put in a weird place since they had been together for 6 years and were very close. Eventually, instead of trying to be better, I opted to be bigger. I told him I changed my mind and instead of wanting to cut her out, I wanted to cut her in. I wanted to do a …

I agree you guys definitely have it harder trying to impress the opposite sex for the purpose of mating. It must be exhausting trying to live up to standards that are for the most part out of your control. I genuinely feel for dudes in that regard. We may have a harder time keeping your interest once you do land with us though.

He must have been someone very special and I'm sure she is too. I find it irritating when men I am not interested continue to chase me. But it's not a complicated formula. It's simply because of that reason: that I am already not interested. If they are gorgeous and kind and talented and good hearted obviously let them chase all they want. But I've never been drawn to anyone who couldn't take no for an answer unless the no really was because I was seeing someone else who I was already having som…

I see the confusion. Maybe chasing is an elusive term. Pursuing is good, but chasing implies the other party is trying to get away and you are still pursuing them. An example of the difference in my opinion is: (woman)"I don't have any availability this weekend I'm sorry" (Pursuing man)"When are you available then? I'd really like to have a chance to take you out." As opposed to: (woman)"I'm just not interested/I'm seeing someone else/I just want to be friends" (Chasing man)"I'd really like to h…

I dunno- i am a woman and thought these were all pretty great. We tend to get pretty put off by someone chasing or overly reaching out, asking too many questions, or needing to agree with everything we say. I think these qualities aren't feminine, although I'm not sure these qualities are masculine either. Their just self-assured and healthy. The one thing I'd change is "don't act jealous" because that's so vague. If you are feeling jealous it's time evaluate your perspective to the situation in…

Don’t ask her. She won’t be insecure- she will just think you are. And that won’t lead to boning. If it comes up- say as a joke “You dont need to tell me anything, I’ll assume it’s two and I’m the second.”

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
