I'd rather be the draftees. By all accounts, South Korean women sound completely insufferable

If America was invaded they would go rabid and attack like an angry beehive all at once. They just don't realize that about themselves because there is no realistic situation for them to really empathize with.

Easy to change your view: you are lacking in real friendships and thus can normalize and rationalize it but the reality is that serious, long term friendships give you skills and social grooming that prune a lot of the bullshit out of your person. For many, many people, they're alone because they're awful. That is a fact. Even if they're single, there is just such an unlikelihood that you'll be a decent person and partner if you do not spend time around other people. There are some extenuating c…

I'm also surrounded by such people, and still find a way to be honest about a social circumstance described by many of those women when I ask them their experiences. Change your flair, man. Y'all red pilled lol

I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Over the past 10 years, numerous Indigenous women have gone missing. There is a huge effort right now to make the Police search landfills for bodies, which they refuse to do. Bet that if a killer is hiding bodies there, they (he) were (was) counting on that. Men often lose custody battles, which sucks if you're a good father but is actually great if you want nothing to do with them, as many rich assholes do (ever seen Elon with one of his twelve children?) In this c…

When you build an entire ideology upon the back of "I have less privilege than you", it will directly lead to people believing it is black and white.

I think you take that idea too far. The "comfort zone persona" is how people act when they can relax and speak without stress. If you're not able to feel that way, it won't feel organic. So, it won't be a rewarding or emotionally fulfilling relationship. People are always changing, but authenticity isn't about finding your platonic ideal it's just about letting yourself feel and be your kind of human, whatever that is rn

And fwiw, I firmly and resoundly do not believe that every human would regress to slothful apathy if they could. The sheer number of trust fund kids that wake up at 4:30 am and shower in ice water to prove something make it clear that having everything still does not stop the human spirit from seeking out personal growth for themselves.

People venture out of their comfort zone because they want to all the time. I really don't trust your take, here, because of my own growth. I moved myself across my country, travelled around the world, and built myself my dream career. I lost 120 lbs and I have fully explored much of my interests. Overcame some real fears. I know how growth works, for me, and it never happened when I felt my hand was forced. You can pressure cook people into a mould that way, like basic military training, but it…

Honestly, you used too many words. Dude likened working at an investment banking firm to dating. His only paradigm is the hyper competitive, capitalist mindset. He will not even comprehend what you're trying to say. He will not even be able to imagine intrinsic value, and an intrinsic set of reward. He is a man that plants a garden in order to sell vegetables, not to watch plants grow. Comparing dating, with all its subtleties and unexpected outcomes, to investment firm brokerage, where risk mit…

"There is no mythical authentic you" How I know you're neurotypical lol Ask a self-aware autistic person about whether or not there is an authentic them and a fake them, and whether they'd ever want to make a relationship based on their masking persona.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/24 06:53 AM

Growth is intentional and comes with the full support of the person. It isn't forced. Not-eating to lose weight is actually really easy when you're committed. Lots of people aren't. And it's not on anyone, not even them, to make them committed. It has to happen when they are ready. OP is suggesting to skip the part where you grow into your decisions and instead play a cut-out version of a self idealism that is based on capitalist success. That's not growth, in the same way learning how to run on…

3 won't give you a single option for a partner because a partner is someone that works with you. When you mould yourself to people's expectations, nobody has anything to work with, so there are no partnerships. Relationships become purely transactional, if he fails to meet those expectations in the future he gets left quick. Nobody that dates guy number 3 will stick around if going gets tough. That's what OP doesn't realize. He's bragging about feeding himself to a shark tank.

That doesn’t mean that you’re ugly, it just means you went to a place where that behavior is more acceptable with no repercussions. It does when you can't ever replicate that outside of anon lol. I think a lot of men get carried away in that internal justification so I understand why you replied this way. A lot of guys pay more attention to how they feel than how people treat them. I know women don't want me because of how they talk to me. They aren't looking to get to know me, they don't message me, they don't show up in my spheres, they don't do any of the things women are "supposed" to do when they're trying to get your attention. Most of what you typed is reiteration of my own thoughts. Only reply I have is Dating being easier when you’re more desirable is just a fact. Desirability politics is a difficult thing to reckon with because it intersects with so many aspects of a person that no one characteristic can be the defining reason for desirability I'm not frustrated with the harsh realities of dating. I'm frustrated with the conversation continually telling me that these realities are overblown, nothing to worry about,…

Not even one of the source links in this article actually works, and it wraps itself up talking about a bro podcast that "addresses this topic". Additionally, the stats they (tried to) cite are the same ones you used - collected from matchgroup apps and trying to use the data collected from an imperfect source. Dude dating INHERENTLY is a shallow thing. Like how the fuck can you even argue this? Because I understand that people date for many reasons, some are shallow and some aren't. When you ma…

I was in Rio de Janiro in the Copacabana. I can see the ocean from my airbnb and I can walk down there. The whole expense of the experience was dirt fucking cheap. I'm not saying you don't have your difficulties, but if you're not from a Western American country, and by America here I mean Canada or the USA, then you do not understand what I am talking about. You don't understand American reality. In Brazil, you can walk down to the beach with a bottle of water and have a wonderful day with your friends. In America, you had to drive 2 hours to get there, pay to get into the park where the beach is located, you're not allowed to bring outside drinks so you need to buy on site, you have additional extra charge to actually access the beach, and if you aren't a premium member, you only have access to the shittiest half of the sand. Most women literally do not use dating apps. Your reliance on the most shallow medium for dating, which has garnered itself a dingy and less-than respectable reputation, and only provides an outlet for dating when people are actually comfortable vetting by looks, is noted. Most men, by definition, have average genetics. It has nothing to do with genetics and everything to do with status. Most younger men are low status. Their dads are still healthy, fit, and trading property in their early 50's, and women find experience and personal responsibility hot. You can't have much personal responsibility when you are shut out from actually owning anything. Couple with the fact that women do use material wealth to judge men, whether they admit it or not, and economic condi…

The problem isn't that women date guys that wave too many red flags. It's that "green flags" bore the fucking hell out of them and they won't be honest about it. Which is why a guy trying to focus on having green flags is wasting his life. He's probably stifling much of his own desire just to fit into a mould of what women vaguely define as a good man, and none of them want to sleep with him for it. This is where Nice Guy syndrome comes from. If you try to be what women ask for, they won't want …

I'm autistic, and I am fat. I grew up even fatter, and poorer. I've never had an easy time dating, for a variety of reasons. But you can bet; when my masking got better, when I lost weight, and when I made more money, I dated better. If I drop the charade for a second and indulge the parts of me that I love, then women are gone before breakfast. People literally do not want autistic men, they do not seriously want to fuck us until we can in some way materially compensate for our disability, and …
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 02:32 PM

Your mistake was letting yourself feel love in a society that is materialistic and exploitative before it is loyal and caring.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/24 08:07 PM

Women think that treating men in the way that hurts them also hurts us. They don't bother to understand us or our feelings at all, so of course they don't understand how this works.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/24 08:06 PM

How do you determine who a sidepiece is, and who needs one in an ideal marriage, where both parties are having their sexual needs met? I don't care if she loves me. She probably doesn't love anyone, since fucking me is a betrayal of the "love" she pretends to have with the guy she married.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/24 08:04 PM

As a man - god this shit is so pathetic. Stop letting women trample your lives for an ounce of s̶e̶x̶ "attention". Learn how to enjoy your time alone, because in a relationship, you still need to entertain yourself. Your pleasure and entertainment will be secondary to your responsibilities to the relationship, which btw she will never truly have to honour. Chances are, you will still have very little to no sex at all, and now you've signed a contract with someone (which ideally guarantees that f…

Bc we're not reduced to anything by being someone's dick appointment. For men, sex is usually the point, and is often treated as a "reward". Sex validates our desires. For women, security and prospect is usually the point, and is treated as a "reward" for being an "ideal woman". Being picked validates a woman's desires. If men were bombarded with offers from gross women that are constantly trying to subvert their trust for sex, they'd probably feel the same. And they do! Women bombard us with of…

I think the crux of your post is the belief that women only find one type of dude attractive. I read through this thread and it has one recurring theme, which is central in TRP: only jacked, cut, and hypermasculine men can be attractive. This is like, patently false. Go back and look at the past 60 years of boybands. There is not one example of an extremely masculine dude. NSYNC had one member with a beard and he's often considered the least attractive. The most attractive? Cute lil Justin Timbe…

Just saying, men who are 40 without money tend to be lacking in dating confidence. Maybe it comes from a sense of personal satisfaction. But more likely, it comes from having achieved some level of wealth. I sure know for me, I didn't feel more "confident and interesting" about anything in my life until after I was out of debt. Couldn't help but notice that the women close to me took me more seriously as a candidate after that point, too.

Men are liars lol. You've spent too much time on reddit I think, to have not noticed how many man claim to want a lovely wife (but secretly want a slut). Lots of them want to date traditional women but expect their traditional woman to toss their salad during sixtey nine like they saw in porn. They're completely delusional. They do monetize it. There's no end to PUA courses and dick enhancement pills and "confidence" courses and ofc you can pay online dating to promote you more. All of that is designed to help you fail, because they don't have a sustainable business model if people consistently find success. Dating is simple, either adjust your standards or enjoy being alone. Guys never hurt for options they just think they're better than dating a fat woman, and they're crushed to find out that no, they're not, the…

Lower rates of education, higher rates of suicide, fewer reported friendships, fewer reported cases of authentic life satisfaction. And for all the shit society does to criticize toxic masculinity, most men feel like there is no other way. Especially if they live in areas of lower socioeconomic status, where in addition to above, they're more likely to be robbed and assaulted. Society likes this. It makes men more pliable, easier to control, and more fit to serve. That's why for all the critique…

It's always hard to take comments like this seriously in this subreddit. There's the occasional married person here to gawk but most of us are single, bitter, and fed up with it. Incidentally, I "worked on myself" for ten years, and it didn't really get me anywhere. Maybe not a flex but I know it's horseshit advice. "Work on yourself" is what people say when they want to tell you to politely shut up and stop complaining.

Oh I don't disagree with that at all. I was an obese kid. Adults told me all my life empty horseshit that someone will love me for who I am and not my body and they were so incredibly wrong. I didn't take weight loss seriously until after college, and my dating youth really suffered for it. Men have always been fragile to rejection. We just used to get away with beating, raping, and sometimes killing women when our egoes were bruised. And get over yourself, real masculinity is not being persecuted lol. You can still be boastful and competitive about fishing and your model cars. You just can't insult people to their faces anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/24 11:38 AM

Yep. This is the only way. Control your impulses and deny them (and yourself) sex until after a month. Most fuckboys won't wait that long, and the ones that do are dead ringers for emotional manipulators and are easy to disregard.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/24 11:35 AM

The real unspoken part here is women would rather get pumped and dumped by a hot asshole than date a less hot guy (unless he can fill out all the items on her dream list). They'll take that chance regardless of how many times they kick the football. There's no way you date the same kind of guy all the way through your 20's, suffering serial heartbreak, and never learn unless you're thinking with hornybrain (unless the struggle really is worth it).
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/24 11:33 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/24 11:27 AM

Yet it was never phrased this way. I was told to "be yourself", then I was told "be the best version of yourself", then I was told "being nice is the bare minimum". Goalposts moved every time we came to the point where someone had to say "you're not sexy" and just didn't have the heart.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 11:02 PM

I only recently internalized this, and it was enough to make me quit dating. Whatevee issues I got, I'm way happier at home under my blankets with a cup of tea. I'm full Squidward. And it'll literally never be sexy, but I'm actually a lot happier this way, so fuck the whole stupid game.

"I love my partner so much ❤️❤️❤️ he's tall but his height doesn't matter 🥰🥰🥰" He's always tall, and it never seems to matter ever, so much that it is always brought up. First thing women from tinder comment on is height, whether I'm shorter or taller than expected.

Stop being all "MEN DO THAT TOO" on the defensive and listen to what is being said. Men lie about themselves to seem more attractive. That does suck and is misleading but it's not what we're talking about because that's not a social dialogue, it's just what assholes do. Women lie about what they're looking for, and not individually but as a collective when dealing with men, so there is a whole social strata of guys out there trying to become "ideal guys" in the hopes of a date. You're probably only getting downvoted because your flair is "blue pill woman" Bc this is red pill rhetoric. The idea that men can be kind and good and that is what makes them attractive to women - that is "blue pill" rhetoric If you really believe that men being attractive is independent of their authenticity of character, and that knowing how to flirt and treat women sexually is actually really important, then you should switch teams. Or you learn from your mistakes. It's perfectly normal to adjust your values in response to new information. I was pretty pro Israel a few years ago, before I got to learn more about the reality of the conflict. As far as dating goes, lots of guys are told that they have to be good and dependable, and they strive for that and make a character for themselves out of it. And then that character they built, which they were told was right and the way to be, gets them absolutely nothing that they ever…

I don't. I know I've been single for 10 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 10:19 PM

If anything, they're worse at it. I swallowed my feelings and stayed friends with my exes when they dumped me. After I rejected a woman that sexually assaulted me, she cried, told me I wasn't a man in so many words, and then accused me of leading her on. That will resonate with a lot of women, but the kicker here is she presented as the whole progressive, wholesome, respectful type. Respectful my ass lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 10:16 PM

I know so many women cheating on their partners. Like, so many lol
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 10:13 PM

I used to think this but ultimately, feminism is not one ideology. For every thought you have about using feminism to fight patriarchal expectations of men, there's another feminist asking why any feminist dialogue concerns men and their feelings at all. Feminism is for women. It's by and for women. There are discussions on who counts as a woman, and how a woman's oppression can vary with wealth and race, but at the end of the day, approaching feminists with men's issues will be met with a lot o…

Women don't need to be educated. They're not stupid, in fact they're more in tune with socialization and social expectations than we are. The problem isn't that women are stupid. It's that they literally do not give a shit. Educating someone that doesn't give a shit is pointless.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 10:06 PM

My perspective. I literally don't want to date women anymore. Sure, complaining is useless, but now, life is honestly great without a partner. I still got feelings of bitterness at how much hurt I had to take away from it, but now I feel a lot more validated. And that's what this is really about.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 10:03 PM

Literally expecting women to treat me with the same excitement, concern, and generosity that I treat the people I choose to date has kept me single for 12 years lmao Women will never do this for you unless they have been for as long as you can remember. Don't invest time in them.

Most of the men struggling with dating are not this lol Maybe they struggle to keep their commitments with you. It's always hilarious when women carry on and on about how the bar is on the floor, when I struggle with dating. I'm a completely put together adult, except I grew up obese, so my body is ugly. I've watched women choose guys they know are going to cheat on them over me, because I'm not hot and he is. 100% of the time y'all choose shallow performer men over the serious guys y'all claim …

That is what he said. You're defensive and you cannot read the context of what is being said here. It's easy to feel offended when you're part of a group being generalized. You're going to tie yourself down in exact wording, like an incel defending rape culture, because you can't empathize with his feelings and you'd rather not make the effort to try.

meanwhile anyone who doesn’t want to work hard and wants to play video games is kind of a loser. Honestly that part is actually pretty true imho. You have one life to live, it’s too short to waste it by living a boring ass life sitting on your ass. This comment really just reinforces what OP is saying. No woman is honest about this, even you're not. You have to twist what he says instead of taking it at face value. Like it doesn't seem to even occur to you that some men like playing video games.…

Right so a lot of mumbling around the point instead of addressing that the qualities that make people marriable, the qualities that make a life partner, are exactly as I have already said. And the qualities that make you fuckable are not. And you generally start relationships by being hot enough to be fuckable, and progressing to making something more if both are present and ready. Of course we're self serving when we start. I'm not going on Tinder to write in my bio "ready to provide". I'm not …

Who cares what keeps people around when I'm not even on their radar in the first place? It doesn't matter how great a person you are if you have no propsects. Many think that means you're not a great person, but lots of great people die alone. It means you're not attractive. You can own it or you can deny it. No, we can't. Women are told from childbirth until the adults are blue in the face to not be shallow and not judge men. Many even believe they have internalized that. "Shallow" is a stupid term anyway. Is it shallow to like someone because they are fat? Is it shallow to like someone because they're simple and not-so clever? Is it shallow to like someone because they're poor? Shallow always seems to be a one-way thing bc it's what hurt people say to try and shame other people so they don't have t…

Nobody gives a fuck about your personality, tbh. It makes nobody more fuckable. People say "personality" when they really mean "how you make me feel". Women are conditioned to avoid owning that reality. Personality doesn't mean shit if your personality, however strong, makes people liken you to an excited child, or makes you seem like a serial killer. That person might not have any real personality flaws at all but women don't feel attracted, or they don't feel safe. This is why trying to be the…

God I hate red pillers. Y'all dense as fuck. At least blue pill guys are happy with their delusions. Women are people first and women second. People care about power. People don't give up leverage without a fight. Feminism generally fights to equate men and women in official mentalities. Women usually support this because it lends them more agency, freedom, and power. Feminism generally doesn't fight to equate men and women in the rare happenstance that patriarchy benefits them. There is no structural inequality in dating. Dating is the law of the jungle. It is unfair at the genetic level, for reasons people cannot logically justify. You make rational impositions with your prefrontal cortex. You decide who to fuck with your limbic system. This reads like "the government has to give me a girlfriend". It's ridiculous, and acting like anything has to be done about it is cope. Adapt or die alone. Those are your choices. Dating will continue to change as rapidly as everythin…

I would take a crack at this one, prefacing with I'm not really a debate bro and I fucking hate podcasts. I also think it's a loaded question, and it probably is never asked totally in good faith, and the broader implications of that are usually sexist. But then I noticed that dismissing all that sure wasn't getting me good dating opportunities. I'm sorry but I'm a guy and I can tell you don't know anything about women. Women make a show of support for each other but they experience competitiveness and hostility like anyone. Presuming that women bond more easily is ridiculous. /r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 01:24 PM

I would choose the average woman myself, presuming I bonded equally with both and I can communicate perfectly with both. I'm not into all the bullshit that comes with dating a supermodel. I also think he's her only major relationship thus far as an adult. Like, I don't care if she is slutty or not...but there is like no indication that she is, anywhere. I don't even get that vibe from her. She radiates good girl energy. I know that can be misleading, but as you say, 4 years.

Yeah so, I think pretty much every study ever done on dating selection has debunked this thought. https://scholar.google.ca/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5&q=women+date+prosocial+men+long+term&btnG=#d=gs_qabs&t=1689955109717&u=%23p%3D_mNZ_u2vtagJ https://scholar.google.ca/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5&q=women+date+prosocial+men+long+term&btnG=#d=gs_qabs&t=1689955197719&u=%23p%3DtwuNYdf4Cj4J https://scholar.google.ca/scholar?start=10&q=women+date+prosocial+men+long+term&hl=en&as_sdt=0,5#d=gs_qabs&t=16899…

Nah. It's insulting if you know nothing about autism. I did this with my best friend. She was pissed off. But then she went and read about it. Now she has her autism diagnosis, and she understands how her condition has affected her behaviour. The thing about being autistic is, if you are autistic, you have always been autistic and it has always hurt you, and it is usually a relief to know that yes, things actually ARE extra hard for you, you are not imagining it.

Tbh, the only one of these that count as a "bad opinion" are top and bottom. And bottom only if that accusation is carried away and used for further drama.

No, I think Jonah was a shitty bf. She's an ultra hot swimsuit model, she'll be fine. But I do think the release to the media was tasteless and an unnecessary bit of bullshit from a bitter ex gf. I don't think she was bitter about his status, but the fact that he is now happily married with a kid....

P sure he was also born and raised in SoCal so he comes from a family wealthy enough to finance all the dumb shit he does for attention. I don't actively watch him but I admit it I have a poor opinion of shitbag youtubers lol. Get a real job

She is though, because she is nakedly showing her racist prejudices well enough that everyone in an elevator can see her lmao Stop defending racist white women. Their feelings of safety are not more important than a black man's right to exist in the first place.

No, the right man for you is 15 years older than him and has completely different priorities. Why are you criticizing a college kid for not wanting to be a dad? I do love how men not being a good match for women is usually likened to a form of weakness, though.

What he's saying is that it is much better to be able to deal with mistakes when they happen than to try and walk perfectly so they never happen at all. You're suggesting the latter. It puts so much pressure on the approach that men often don't bother. We are only able to approach when we stop being afraid of negative outcomes and work our best at dealing with them. Like, I rly do think you're naive bc you haven't seemed to have had to deal with a perfectly normal interaction setting off some cr…

This is what people say when they assume there's a solution to a problem they're not presently dealing with. Like, a lot of the time the availability of that support you're talking about depends on your income, or on the country you live in. Therapy also sometimes just does not fix dating problems. It can get people on their feet, but they still have to trial and error their way through dating. I mean it's that or you gotta start asking all the guys you date out all on your own.

All I learned is that women want guys to actively show their engagement, and that I don't have the time or patience to wait and see if they have a hang up before making my play and moving on. I don't really care if you look down on me for it, either.

You are in NO position to give dating advice lol Oh trust me dude, you can speak from, and learn from, negative experience. I know your method isn't going to work because it represents the majority of my dating efforts, which you handily point out. So go ahead. Keep trying to play it that way.

it's not Yes it is lol She might have been more willing to say yes if you asked her in her preferred way. Going up to women and asking them out isn't a binary choice, it's searching for women who like being hit on in public. You just don't get it. I have no interest whatsoever in dating a sensitive wallflower that cannot assert herself. This approach is literally my way of vetting people with the confidence to actually date properly. you might be causing her a greater discomfort I don't care. I …

It is a binary yes or no question. You're overthinking it. If a woman does not want to date me, she'll say no. If she does, she'll say yes. If my behaviour puts her off and she's rejecting me, she's still saying no. If she's unwilling to answer it when I ask, then she won't appreciate the kind of person I am, so it remains a natural rejection. What you don't understand is the many problems and neuroticisms in a woman's head are actually not your problem whatsoever. If a woman can't handle the sm…

The tax argument will be a lot better when less of it goes to F35s and more of it goes to the programs you say it does tho, fam. It's straight up fucking leftist to be anti tax in the USA. 99% of that money will go straight to imperialist exploitation.

gay men have better manners and are saavy enough not to proposition strangers Gay men do this because they're literally killed if they fuck up, don't act like this is at all equivalent lmao. It's better to compare them to why women don't act more forward. Incidentally, if gay men feel safe around you, they will make you know they are gay. Trust me. I set off a lot of gaydar, and a lot of gay guys make their moves. They absolutely do this.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/23 03:25 AM

I'm not asking women for attention, I'm asking them if they want to go on a date. I want to. If a man has something I want, then yes, I will interrupt him and ask. If I use my manners, I usually get what I want. Frankly, I think you are terminally online, reading your other responses, and you default to the assumption that people talk to each other at knifepoint.

If she likes me enough, she'll say yes. If she doesn't, she'll say no. If she wants to, me asking her will not make her change her mind. That's why you should always just ask. You're not actually alienating anybody, because if she's alienated by your affections, then you're getting rejected.

What he's referring to isn't really individual cases of abuse. I work in a workplace where I am the only man. I'm regularly treated like I am less responsible, like I am more unreliable, and I am generally condescended to by most of my coworkers. Do you think I could really complain about harassment to an all-female board of directors? We have situations now where men are in fact suffering exactly the oppression women have been fighting and the response is callous disregard. Some women even chee…

Okay but women also DON'T get blamed when problems with patriarchy rebound on them. And you know who else uses "well we can't serve everyone, someone has to be unhappy" logic? Capitalists, when they're defending capitalism. Women want alllll the change until those changes affect the like, one or two advantages they do enjoy for being women lol
