5	Just a reminder to people... take breaks from this sort of thing occasionally. This might be offensive to some If someone feels offended by what OP said I suppose they should look at why they feel offended. Sometimes you'll overreact, as a gay man I often try to make sure I'm not being overly protective and I try to take a second before I react if it's not something that is obviously homophobic. 2	Mindblown A tumor is also a living thing. Life has criterias that all cells fit into. A single cell inside your heart, for example, is a living cell. It can't survive on it's own and it's specialized in doing a specific thing but it is still a living cell that needs nutrients, grows, reproduces and dies. It's simply in a big 'colony' so to speak of cells that makes an entire organism. 15	Mindblown It's always life no matter where in the cycle you are. A sperm and an egg are both living things, they're just very specialized and a fertilized egg isn't more concious than a skincell or a cell from any other part of the body. All our cells are alive, so I think it's not really a question of "Is it alive or not?". However, we can talk about if it's moraly right or wrong to perform an abortion. 13	Congratulations: if you're a man - especially a white man, you have absolutely no problems. I'm a gay man. I have on one or two occasions heard other non-straight people talk as if we don't need straight people. Luckily, this attitude seems rare, but it still makes me sad to hear it. Also, I just saw a thread here on Reddit that's a good example of injustice toward men. A father had been fighting for custody of his daughter.
