Well I don’t know how many you mean because your typo omitted the amount, but it doesn’t matter. I’m a woman, and I don’t feel anxious or annoyed when my man is “sitting around and not doing anything.” He works hard. He deserves time to chill out and do whatever the fuck he pleases. It’s that simple.

Is it just me, or does it seem like every guy who posts in this sub thinks their personal experiences apply to the rest of the population?

I’m local. I’ve been here for about 30 years. I used to live downtown west, near a guy who wore nothing but a tiny g-string every day. Miss that guy. He was nice.

There are usually a fair amount of topless sunbathers over there. Also, the lake is finally full again (I think) is Hippie Hollow is your vibe.

I need protection for my tattoos. Plus I’m frequently hot-flashing these days and the sun makes it more unbearable. That said, I hate having wear clothes in the heat.

I can understand what you’re trying to say in theory, but it’s an ideal that won’t work in practice for a lot of different reasons. For instance, modesty is relative, so the understanding of what is appropriate will vary greatly regionally, demographically and by body type. Also your theory is not as inclusive of women’s image/safety as you think because it means that women will *still have to be responsible for the male gaze, while wearing clothing that has essentially been male-approved. Do yo…

Oh, god no. Not dirty 6th. Not after sunset and not unless *absolutely necessary. Look, I feel you. It gets hot and it stays hot and the titties are always sweaty. But times have changed, especially down there, where everyone has either been roofied, or is trying to roofie someone else. It’s grimy, and not in a good way.

This is so far off base. Bro, your experiences are not the same as everyone else’s. You are not the “average man” and even if you were, you would still not menstruate monthly, not have to get pap smears and mammograms, not have to deal with honeymoon cystitis, systemic birth control and long term effects, pregnancy, reproductive health w/o pregnancy, reproductive rights - on and on. Please take your head out of your ass.

Ah, ok. I misunderstood. I thought I was talking to a bible beater. My bad. I’m probably gonna back out of this convo now. I’m an atheist Jew, sooo, yeah. I don’t really have any time for all of that Jesus stuff anyway.

The birth rate has been declining for two decades. Can you not google? One of our current Supreme Court justices sexually harassed a female coworker to an extent that made the atmosphere so inhospitable (for her) that they had to hold official hearings. Our last president was on the panel. He gave the harasser a pass. And our current president is an actual rapist. How much more ingrained do you need? 2

The misunderstanding that all women are the same. Why is this confusing you?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 02:33 PM
3

Nope. Women are human. Humans want to connect. There are *people who date for sport, sure, but they’re not looking to connect the same way.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 02:24 PM
2

But your observations are off. Connection actually comes first, if you can manage it. A lot of men want to connect differently.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 02:07 PM
7

Women are not a monolith, bro. You would know this if you talked to them like people as opposed to reading crap that confirms your biased opinions.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/26 02:05 PM

If you need women to submit to you then chores are the least of your problems. Just fyi.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 09:27 PM
21

But that’s not how it works. Like, at all. You seriously think that women can orgasm easily but prefer not to because they have to work for it? That would mean that women are literally “suffering” through sex just to please men - so your whole deal just doesn’t fly, bro.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 01:14 PM
24

OP, your post is absurd. Women and men climax differently and what gets us there is not the same at all. We are literally physiologically different and so are our orgasms. And then there’s biology - men are designed to spread the seed, not carry it. Pregnancy is a serious health condition and women are not designed to be perpetual birthers. If you’re having trouble bringing someone to climax then you need to communicate and practice, not take it to Reddit and make it everyone else’s problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/26 01:06 PM

Right and biology dictates that men are more prone to physical aggression and violence, where women are more emotional, or “neurotic.” Which is why you’re finding those suicide stats, because suicide is (almost always) a violent act.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 07:22 PM

Is this in response to that post (now deleted by mods) re: “men’s issues-something-something-all women’s fault” Pretty sure that dude downvoted me for pointing out that his premise was bunk because, well, everything
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 07:03 PM

Your premise is incredibly flawed because it assumes that women aren’t actually victimized by men, when it’s quite plain that we are. One out of three women get assaulted by men, globally - and that number is MASSIVELY underreported. Furthermore, men are the ones who are responsible for the violent crimes you mention, thus more men are incarcerated, etc.

As a woman approaching menopause I am obviously biased, but going through it in the way that I am, which is, badly, because it’s bloody awful, I would have to say that I’m far more patient with other women - if they’re younger than I am, I feel like it’s my duty to warn and guide them, and if they’re older, I want to learn and take comfort from them. Men, not so much.

Thanks for the reply. I’m sorry for being suspicious but I have another dude (in this sub) coming at me for entirely unethical reasons. I’m a happily married woman with a blended family. Having said that, I’m at a time in my life - late perimenopause - where I can get annoyed at both, men/kids, and frequently feel like I would be more at peace without either one of them around. I’m pretty sure that this is a universal symptom, albeit transitional and temporary, but it is not lost on me that, upo…

I think generalization is pointless. Women (and humans in general) are more nuanced than that. Furthermore, we’re all capable of doing multiple things within our lifetimes, including but not limited to love, marriage, friendship, isolation, reproduction, etc - and most if not all of these things can be done traditionally or non-traditionally, which, for whatever reason, has not been mentioned at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 07:26 PM

No, dear. Life is hard, especially for women. Which is why your comments aren’t landing well with readers.

Who’s what now? I’m very happily married with a blended family. I’ve also been quite happy being single without children. In both cases I’ve known deep, connected love. I suggest you stop trying to fit your square peg in our round holes, sir.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 07:03 PM
2

Hmm, seems like you made an unrealistic leap for personal reasons. Most well adjusted folks understand that single and childless does not equate to loveless.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 06:31 PM
6

I think it’s way more nuanced than the presented percentages, but the gist of it is that women can be perfectly happy without men and children and that’s okay. Because men and children don’t complete us. The manosphere can go back to its circlejerk.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 05:20 PM
1

What does that mean?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 05:09 PM
1

This is off base. First, anyone who has an ego is narcissistic at times, it’s part of being a human being. Second, actual NPD falls on a spectrum itself, it’s not at all the same across the board. So flattening it to use as a baseline for specific genders makes no sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 04:56 PM

Obviously it doesn’t. What else?

Meh. That’s not an answer. Vague much?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 10:48 PM
1

Question: what’s your idea of having to do more in dating?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 10:21 PM
1

I’m not trying to be condescending when I say that you should think for more than just a figurative minute. Women have *way more work to do in almost every situation from health, to parenting, to pay gap, to politics and rights. You have no idea how difficult it is for women to live in a world that is designed by men, for men. Honestly, it’s exhausting. And I say this as a genuinely happily married woman with three sons who I adore. I love men. I’m not bitter. I’m just speaking facts.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 09:40 PM
1

I understand that. Relationships of all kinds take work. Connecting with people, engaging and then disengaging, takes a lot of emotional bandwidth. But what you’re not getting is that women are constantly having to do extra work, all of our lives, just to keep ourselves alive and safe. Not just in dating, but also simply walking down the street - it’s 24/7, always having to be alert and on guard in just about every situation. So, if you can look at it from that perspective, I don’t know, does th…

Interpersonal relationships are really not your thing, bruv
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 09:11 PM
1

I get what you’re saying and I’m not necessarily disagreeing with it. My point is that women can get beaten up and/or killed for not smiling, or not saying hello, etc. - we’re always having to weigh out the pros and cons of responding to men (in these circumstances) with something we know they want to hear, versus something they may not want to hear that can then equal danger for us.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 08:59 PM
1

I think there’s a misunderstanding here. You sound rather decent now :) From my experience, the complaining you seem to be talking about comes with being misled, which can make other people have expectations about things that will never come to fruition.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 08:53 PM
1

I never said you assaulted anyone, nor did I make that assumption. What I am saying is that women are not assaulting themselves. Dating is dangerous for women. Relationships, with men, are dangerous for women. These are just the facts. You may not be responsible for all men, but you are going to have to pay the price for their actions, whether you like it or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 08:43 PM
1

Take a breath. It’s going to be okay. We have different definitions of what’s decent because you’re a young(ish) man with presumably less relationship experience than a 50-something year old woman who’s had decades of experience. Furthermore, you’re starting from an unrealistic position because women and men are not on an equal playing field with any of this, which is something you *should know.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 08:40 PM
1

Sure, but the reality is also one out of every three women getting sexually assaulted globally, and that’s the ratio with tragically underreported numbers. If you have an issue with this, you should be debating with the “one out of three“ *men who are causing the problem, and not with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 08:27 PM
1

Seriously? You never gave “extra“ a value. Again, this stuff is not difficult. If you want your body to be inside of another human being, then you should be decent to said human being. If you think this means going out of your way in a manner that displeases you, then you have a *you problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 08:23 PM
0

I can’t answer that because it’s situational and relative to the particular people involved. “Body count” is something that can be triggering for men, which means that women have to be careful around the topic.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 08:19 PM
1

But that’s not all you’re saying “someone who doesn't want a relationship is under no extra obligation to relay this fact” Human decency is a thing, bruv

Both partners need to be upfront. This is not hard. Don’t be manipulative and try to be a decent person.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 08:08 PM

I’m not talking about body count (because it’s not worth discussion), I’m talking about leading someone on. There’s nothing wrong with wanting sex without a relationship, so why not be upfront about it?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 07:59 PM
-1

No. The possible actual relationship. Meaning, if you mess with the ability for a partner to make an informed decision re: whether or not to be with you one time, then I can only assume that you are going to do it multiple times, over and over again, no?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 07:49 PM

Doesn’t matter. You’re still in the wrong. Withholding within the confines of a relationship is considered emotional abuse.

I’m a woman and I have no problems with bi, trans and/or queer men. I’m not uncommon. I have a lot of women friends. They feel the same way I do. I’m really sorry if you’ve had some bad experiences but you need to understand that your experiences are not necessarily universal.

You might want to try that with a woman who hasn’t been raped and/or assaulted, harassed, stalked, etc… That’s if you can find one in existence. Because it sure-as-shit ain’t me, or for that matter, any of the women I know.

It does make sense but it’s still off. Women enjoy casual sex too. Myself included. There is absolutely nothing wrong about hooking up just to hook up - and everyone experiences things differently so it’s entirely possible that people can gain varying levels of fulfillment from casual sex. But I think you’re overlooking the safety issue for us. Pretty much any kind of male/female relationship can, will, has and does get exploited, by men, to the woman’s detriment. That’s just a fact of life for …

A lot. I’m not by any means trying to tell this guy how to find fulfillment, it’s clearly not possible and it’s not my job. I’m trying to tell him that he’s cutting off his nose to spite his face. Because he won’t be able to get laid if he reeks of desperation, or if he talks about his conquests, or gives women the slightest idea that he’s sees them as sex objects in an inexperienced and self centered way. If you want sex with another person, you have to be able to think about that other person.…

This guy seems to think that sex with lots of women will somehow make him inherently more desirable. Like he’s going from A - Z without learning any of the letters in between.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 07:24 PM
0

Ok, I get that. But the truth is that self-worth should not be dependent upon your body count, and if it is, that would indicate that you’re a somewhat shallow individual (in theory). Look, there’s nothing wrong with playing the field, but you should be able to get a better sense of self worth through more solid interactions with other people and a better understanding of yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 06:31 PM

Yeah, but to not know about it at all? I don’t know, that seems weird to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 06:25 PM

That’s not possible because it’s unrealistic and not how these things work. Women simply do not think, feel, or operate in this manner. Period. How old are you?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 06:24 PM
2

My dude. You need healthy and realistic priorities to have a good relationship. You need a good understanding of yourself and your partner as well. Emotional intelligence is what you really need.

I should’ve been more specific. I doubt his ability to get and *maintain a healthy relationship.
