Positive biases in the hiring process are there to balance out negative biases at other points in life. you can see this from the fact that these companies don't have over 50% women despite positive discrimination in the hiring practices. it feels unfair when looking at the hiring process in isolation, but you have to consider there are a huge number of barriers that women face in getting into Compsci.
