| 1 | Divorce MediationOk. May be different in your state, but my mediation had mine and my exe's lawyer present. And our lawyers communicated with the mediator. My lawyer was able to secure me my house and equity, furniture and my main vehicle. My ex got all the unsecured debt, their main vehicle, provided that the payments were kept up, and any property they owned before the marriage. That was all thanks to my lawyer. | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/03/26 01:41 AM |
| 1 | Divorce MediationThat's how it worked in my divorce. Why else would lawyers need to be present? | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/03/26 02:29 AM |
| 1 | Divorce MediationThere will be arguments, no way around that, but if your lawyer can make a good case (rebuttal) to anything that you don't want, would not be in your best interest, then that could help. Sorry it took me so long to reply. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/03/26 02:42 AM |
| 2 | Divorce MediationTheir whole point is to be impartial. If your lawyer is present, it will probably come down to the strength of their argument and rebuttals. | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/03/26 07:36 PM |
