It was a performance-art exhibit. Shia sat in a chair with a paper bag on his head for five days while people waited in line to spend time alone with him. There was a table outside with candy, whips, etc. Shia claims one woman whipped his legs for ten minutes, then took off his clothes and raped him. I believe it; here's a woman who did a similar performance but with a large audience, it almost took a Lord of the Flies turn.

An analogy is in order. Are you serious? [Race] is easily defined by biology. I'm not sure if you're serious right now. Allow me to drop biology 101 on you: If you have [more than 70% skin pigmentation], you're [definitely black]. If you have [less than 30%], you're [definitely white]. All the language in the universe will never change this. Whether or not that's true, it in no way supports teachers reading storybooks about racial segregation to young children.

To me, a trans lady not informing her partner without being asked is a bit like jury annulment, a way to deal with a misguided rule. There are people in this thread saying they don't need a reason to be offended, but that seems like the attitude of every group of people in history who tried to hold back equality.

Maybe she had an affair while he still loved her, or she simply stopped loving him on account of changing hormones. Now he's paying for the mother's time with his kids, during which he doesn't get to be with them. She could be spending an unfair portion of that check on herself. On the other hand, maybe he was an abusive drunk and had it coming. In the first case, I'd be furious in his shoes.

I did NOT tell her about my vasectomy and I always used a condom with her to protect against STDs. She assumed, obviously, that the condom was only used for birth control. Silly girl. ... The most surprising part of that video was where a group decided to do something about it. I'm guessing they started watching out of curiosity, and their expectation was that the girl would march off in anger. When that never happened, it stopped being normal.
