I don't see a problem here. Do you think a man should control every aspect of a woman's life? Ain't nobody got time for that! lol If you want a partner who will vibe with you 100% on everything, then go find a dude with Aspergers. He will follow you off a cliff, mate! He will walk into traffic for you. Naked. Or maybe you'd do better with a blowup doll... you can dress it up yourself, put whatever makeup you want, and you can hide it in the closet so no other dude will ever lay eyes on her. Soun…

Read Meditations, by Marcus Aurelius, the last great emperor of Rome. It's his private journal, never intended for our eyes, but the Stoic philosophy can absolutely change your life. It's an easy read and packed with wisdom.

Don't seek happiness, friend. Don't seek fame or fortune. These things are worthless. Instead, sacrifice yourself for something meaningful. Only through sacrifice and suffering will you know God and, in turn, your own true nature as a man. And consider deeply - and often - your own mortality, that death and decay awaits you and everyone around you. That ought to put things into perspective.

You can see she's just loving it, though! She loves this narrative in her head, that she's just TOO beautiful for men, so beautiful that men are falling over chasing her and bashing their own heads in. What she has is an attitude problem. You can go to countries in Eastern Europe where pretty much all chicks are 8s, 9s, 10s, and they have no problem getting married and getting on with their lives. Oh yeah, and she complains about dating apps. "It's a minefield," she says.... WELL THEN WHY THE FU…

Thanks for this, mate. I am inspired by his story of redemption. Definitely something we can all relate to, and I'm glad that out of the pain of loss he managed to find the light of God. Absolutely brilliant!

I appreciate this. Everything is transient. Thanks. I've been really bummed out lately seeing this world get locked down and everyone giving in to their fears and sacrificing freedom for security, but it's good to be reminded that, no matter what, there's always the light of God at the end of the tunnel.

The magnitude and variability of sex differences in vocational interests were examined in the present meta-analysis for Holland's (1959, 1997) categories (Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional), Prediger's (1982) Things-People and Data-Ideas dimensions, and the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) interest areas. Technical manuals for 47 interest inventories were used, yielding 503,188 respondents. Results showed that men prefer working wi…

There's resentment is EVERY community, but it doesn't mean that everything they say is false. Resentment is a human characteristic, and you must be naive to think even for a second that you yourself do not harbour any resentment. And how am I entitled? You're the one here complaining about men not wanting to be friends with you! lol Maybe your jokes suck, eh? Work on that. Instead of shutting out voices that conflict with your narrative, choose to investigate things on a deeper level and strive …

Typical. Don't engage with people of differing opinions. How stunning and brave of you. Go on about your life, complaining about the patriarchy as you reap all of its countless benefits. Damn hypocrites, the lot of you.

It is also the opinion and experience of many, many, many other men, hence the reason OP is even initiating this discussion. Now I never said there aren't any exceptions. Of course men and women CAN be friends, and I am certainly friendly with all people I meet, including women. And I said, MOST - not all - women are not worth my time. There are some intelligent and funny and interesting women out there that I would genuinely like to hang out with, but I guess for a man to have standards these d…

Yeah, and I'll be wearing my stained wife-beater vest, drinking beer, watching TV, and she'll be chained to the stove making my food. Can't wait for my first divorce court case! That's the life for me, baby! Six-packs of cheap lager, a miserable wife to beat on, and a comfortable couch.

The native American gender norms varied widely by region and community, correct, but there are certain patterns that we can observe. For the most part, men do the hunting, and virtually all warfare engagements consisted of men. Because men are born stronger, faster than women. Men have denser bones and a higher tolerance for physical pain. Men love to tinker with things and be innovative, crafting tools and weapons. Biology. And from what I've read, many pre-farming societies used to be polygamo…

HA! Love it how you compare TRP to neo-nazis. I envy the man that lands in your lap, truly. Consider this, maybe those friendships of yours didn't last because of your inclination to compare people with differing opinions from yours to neo-nazis? Eh, just a thought...

You're probably likely to dismiss my advice, but I have been in a similar position, and it's all on you in the end to decide what kind of man you choose to become. I say: Study the Bible and adopt strict Christian values. Study Stoicism, read Marcus Aurelius. Study Zen Buddhism and Confucianism. Read the great classics, the ancient myths. Gilgamesh. Homer. Open yourself up to traditional wisdom and ethics, but at the same time narrow your focus towards a goal. Not just any goal, mind you, I'm ta…
