No worries. I completely understand the confusion. It's a tricky subject, because it is such a messed up situation.

That isn't what they're saying... They're not saying that she is being honest about what happened. She obviously wasn't. They're referring to the part in the title that says "or the fact someone believes she could be raped". It heavily implies that because of her looks, it is a complete impossibility. It didn't happen to her, and lying about such a thing is wrong for so many reasons... But things like that do happen to people far less attractive than she is, all of the time. The point they're tr…

In my personal opinion, the draft should not exist at all... But, since it does, I fully support women signing up as well.

Yes. That would be very emotionally traumatic. If anyone knew that she had done something to them, I would hope that they would come forward. Likely they wouldn't... But, without an accuser, I don't think that there's anything legal that anybody can do about it. It's really shity. I don't know a ton about the legal system, but I assume that without a victim, it would be be close to impossible to prove that there was a crime.

That is very true. And, even if you weren't raped/assaulted, being dragged may not make that clear. The more I think about it, if I woke up and realized I'd been drugged, that would likely be my 1st assumption.

Yeah... And that is an issue in and of itself. Gender shouldn't play a role in legal punishment for the same crime, just as race shouldn't. That is something that desperately needs to change. I was just confused as to why they were saying that theft is equatable to rape. Both are bad, but they're not on the same level.

Don't get me wrong... Rape is a huge societal issue, regardless of gender. And I absolutely believe that both men and women can do awful things to eachother. It's sick, and the stigmas around it makes everything worse. I didn't read anything about Cardi B being accused of or admitting to anything sexual, though. It sounds like her goal was to take their money rather than any kind of sexual gratification. That's not to justify what she did... Sterling is terrible and action should be taken. But t…

Bill Cosby had multiple people come forward and accuse him. Cardi B hasn't had anyone come forward and accuse her. I agree that what she did absolutely warrants legal punishment... But without having someone actually pressing charges against her, it won't happen. Edit: Okay... I have read a little more about the matter. Bill Cosby was accused admitted of rape. Cardi B admitted to theft... I don't think that the two scenarios are even comprable. It's like comparing an unarmed gas station robbery …

I feel like everyone should close the lid before they flush... Doesn't matter if a man or woman used the toilet. It's nasty to leave the lid up, when flushing, reguardless.

Wouldn't this be considered revenge porn, though? In several states this would classify, and she would be able to take legal action against him for making a sexually private video public without her knowledge or consent She was wrong. She did something awful, and I'm glad that the wedding was called off... But he very easily could have screwed himself over, here.

That was not a Feminist Cafe... That was a Misandrist Cafe, masquerading as a Feminist Cafe.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
