I highly doubt you've ever been a woman and I don't think you've ever made an effort to understand that perspective. If you had, you wouldn't be here. I understand yours. Life is rough. It doesn't always work out the way society tells you it should. Men are supposed to get jobs and get women. Those are both parts of being considered successful. If you fail at one of those, it can feel like failing as a man. The dudes here have failed and instead of questioning what they did wrong, they're saying…

Actually, men are getting happier & show higher levels of well-being, as women sink into the mire of unhappiness. Even if that is true, it still proves nothing. You still haven't crossed the correlation != causation barrier. There are millions of things that affect happiness and no more reason to believe you are right than there is to believe that increased consumption of coca cola is responsible for global warming. Funny how you dismiss my "anecdotes" but then argue on your own anecdotes. Yeah,…

I feel bad for modern 'merican women. They're heavily medicated, and not any happier than women 2-3 generations ago. In fact, women in the US today are measurably and significantly less happy. All this proves is that women are not as happy (and I believe men are also less happy). It does not prove anything about why they are not as happy. Correlations != causation as I'm sure you know. There have been millions of changes in the world in the past few generations that could be contributing factors…

Are you not entertained? Yeah, who doesn't like witnessing crazy? It's why reality TV is so popular. you've got your ideas prebaked, no thought nor discussion needed False, I've put a lot of thought into them. Most of us are here because we bought the standard line, it failed us No, the standard line did not fail, you failed. we had to run our own experiments & find other voices And there are plenty of sane voices out there you could chose to follow. Why pick this? You've never even considered w…

I thought you wanted to have a substantive discussion about our ideas? Oh wait.. No, I never said that. I really don't want to any more than I'd want to discuss ideas with people who were convinced that aliens live among us. It'd be a waste of time and effort. They're too crazy. Additionally, you've provided nothing substantive to this discussion either. Have you even tried to explain your ideas or are you only attacking me with the same logical fallacies that you decry in my posts.

Congrats, you took only 3 posts to prove Godwin correct. That has to be a troll post land-speed record. Ignoring the logic behind my point because I used Hitler as an example? Classic. Shifting the goalpost Nope, I never really had one to begin with. It's like you're just regurgitating vocab terms without actually bothering to see if they make sense or contribute anything meaningful to the discussion. So you deny an ad hominem, then admit it Nope, I never deny it. Work on your reading comprehens…

You should be ashamed of yourself for leveling an accusation with zero evidence. If someone said that Hitler was a terrible person who should have been ashamed of his actions, would you respond, "But what evidence do you have against him?" Sometimes, there is so much evidence that when someone demands it be presented to them, they just look like a fool. Additionally, your definition of ad hominem is incorrect. Ad hominem is attacking a person to discredit their ideas. I'm attacking both. Your ph…

Women are essentially the same Riiight...how many women do you even know? I'm guessing your mom and maybe a sister? Women are just as varied as men. Additionally, how does any of what you've written here address any of the points I made above?

That's my point: you should be ashamed of yourselves. I know you all have a ridiculous set of "shaming tactics" comebacks that you use to prevent any criticism from being leveled at you, but let's face it, some ideas and actions are worthy of shame. Your ideas are shameful ideas.

You must be a child if you believe women never lie. I don't believe I ever said that women never lie. I think you might need to go back to school and review reading comprehension. Everyone lies. That doesn't mean you should treat every declaration with suspicion though. Women lie about their past and other people using gossip and manipulation. A woman's lie is far more damaging than a man's. That's absurd. Firstly, men are huge gossips, whether you choose to acknowledge it or not. Second, I don'…

It doesn't have any place in civilized society. Just accept that you are all acting like assholes because it's easier to blame others for your own shortcomings than it is to man up and act like a useful member of society.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
