You're welcome. Just make sure it's Pennsylvania-Dutch, because if you're teaching them Deutsche the only places that'll be useful is Germany and Holland. I'm learning French right now which thankfully has a lot of places that it's spoken besides France. Germany just never got around to sharing it's language with the world.

Nice dude. Sounds like you got it goin. Keep it up. Remember that this group is curse free, other than that, I wanted to comment on the fact that I have long thought about doing a sort of social experiment in regards to Anarcho-capitalism-theocracy. Except it'd be on the scale of a small island, and thousands of people, rather than just a household. I must admit that it'd be a good recipe for a cult, but that's why I wouldn't want any leaders. So really it'd be theocratic-anarchy to me. BTW, hop…

I kinda laugh at the responses you got. I dig it though, get back to lifting! ;) Tbh, I've thought a lot about doing something like you're doing, except on the scale of an island, and leading an anarcho-capitalist-theocratic economy, and I don't expect anyone to get an education except what they naturally gravitate towards by their God given design. Maybe having an orphanage instead of kids. Probably both. And the best part is, I'm not even married yet xD

even if you're not going for size, is important. No, I've not gotten active with lifting. I'll set a goal to lift once or twice a week starting this week. I have been wanting to do more swimming, and there is a pool in the city close to me, however, because of the virus, I won't be able to leave for a while. Are you discipling anyone currently? If so, what specific things are you doing to promote spiritual growth? Currently, I am discipling a few people and have active discipleship in many venue…

Ah, yeah there's no laws regarding servitude. If you want to SERVE your wife via hardcore bdsm, especially if she's into that, then by all means go ahead. BUT submission, and serving are two totally different things. Submission means to follow the example of, serving means to put yourself lower than. Big difference. It's important to realize that. To submit you must sacrifice your free will and follow the will of another, something men are only ever called to do with God, whereas women are calle…

I would suggest reading the sidebar items, especially the one titled "In case women stumble into this sub ;)" 1 Pet 3:1-7

Job 29-31 would seem to suggest that he followed the sermon on the mount commands perfectly, to suggest that it is impossible is faithless. (Even though you just said there that with God all things are possible.) I referred to the young rich ruler not because of the story, or the guy, but because of Jesus' commands to him. Big difference as it's not a question of salvation, but of submission. Go read my other comment and then practice a few more doses of humility. I get your fervor to want to te…

Well after reading through this comment thread I am confident in saying that it has hit a soft spot in your patience bank. Good job for keeping it on the sensitive side, and for trying to be weary in what the Holy Spirit is saying to your heart. If you're in Cali, you might want to check out Vineyard, but if you're not at all close to Anaheim, try finding a place that is small, allows for intimate discussion, and prioritize the small group over the big church. If you're not already in a deep sea…

With this one you may want to consider the parable of the rich young ruler.

I would say this was the Holy Spirit working through your sales guy to invite you to a church that He(Holy Spirit) would like you to go to. Take him up on his offer.

Thanks for taking the time. And yeah, I know you weren't obliged to respond, but you did and that's cool of you. I think the way that I see pragmatics is through the construct of healthy communication. I grew up in a household where screaming matches were nightly, never constructive, and always judgemental. The reason, at least from my view, is because they could never be honest about who they were, what they'd done, or who they were becoming. We're all changing and adapting. But even though the…

I shouldn't have said that as such a general term, in terms of who I would focus on in this situation to receive counseling, it would be her, I apologise for that and hope you can forgive me. You don't have any less value than she does. You are legitimate and your feelings are real. Like I mentioned in previous comments regarding your post, I don't appreciate the fact that you lied to her and have seemingly lacked being honest about your attraction with her, even when asked. Liars, on my list, i…

She's experiencing human emotions. We all have those, and to deny such would be dishonoring to how we were created. She should obviously be handling them differently. So should OP, but OP is getting dealt with by God, whereas with our culprit, it's hard for me to believe she feels she has a support system at all. Why did she explode in the first place? (Obviously we can't answer that accurately without knowing her better) I would presume because she hasn't been able to voice her feelings with an…

The woman in this story has more value than our OP does, and I feel like chuck was being apathetic and derogatory towards her. I think the OP needs a swift kick in the butt, and in this comment section he got that. But I don't see a ton of reason to devalue this woman like that. I suppose I should reflect why I decided to join this sub if this is the culture that you guys take pride in.

Dang, that's brutal and strangely apathetic. Whatever happened to "Love each other as I have loved you."?

Bro, chill out. It's not about you in this circumstance. If you truly loved her you'd be worried about her well being. Of course, it'll probably sound like an excuse, but it's your responsibility to listen and hear her out on her side of the story. You've already heard a portion of it, ever take a second to consider that some **** went down? IF ANYTHING you should not have a lash out text written out, but a text that is fearing for her life. But obviously, there's a middle road you should take, …
