If the worry is legal, talk to people that actually understand it. There is tons of fearmongering around this subject (and similar ones) here, and much of it is not grounded in reality.

Depends on what the worry is about, and what your country is. In my country (Brasil), it's borderline impossible to jail someone for rape, and that becomes harder on a false accusation. Besides being unlikely to happen, the likelyhood of someone facing LEGAL consequences because of a false accusation is very small. In my country you CANNOT get a conviction solely on a he said she said basis. Otherwise our incarceration rate for sexual assault/rape would be WAY higher than it is. If none took big hits career wise in the name of family life, it is VERY, VERY likely to be no alimony imposed after divorce. Child support is an entire different discussion though.

In Brazil, alimony goes to the party that had their career options neutered in the name of family life. Like towards the spoyse that quite their career to take care of the children. If men do that, they are entitled to it. To me, it makes complete sense.

Brasil needed that, and a while ago, it passed legislation that made sure in any divorce/separation proceedings, it would be assumed that both parents would have equal custody of the child, unless the proceedings themselves determined otherwise. It alleviatwd a LOT of the issues with our divorce court.

There isn't. In the NCAA, from over 500,000 female athletes, there were 10 trans. Trans people aren't putting in that much energy to go into women's sports. Is just a scarecrow, which shadow got highly amplified to be a talking point in a culture war.

He was detained not arrested, and it was a case of mistaken identity. But yeah, you can and will get arrested here for refusing to obey a court order, and that includes pension for the child. If you lose your job/can't afford to pay, you can always get it temporarily rescinded/readjusted.

Yes and no. Our political spectrum is very different from the U.S. For you, Yes, absolutely. For the Brazilians, is weird. He is an old president that ran on very populist left wing ideological his first two terms, and still is seen as such, but his actual governance this time is more toward center or center-right (which again, for any American, it would be left).

I don't think that is true. After a fuckton of effort, and a bit of luck, I now have people in my life that put in effort to spend time with me, that text me freqeuntly and that care about how I am. And I return I give them that same energy. It took (and still takes) effort, and required some luck, but I found people that genuinely like to be around me.

I kind of agree. But both loneliness and depression are things that feed itself, and grow bigger by their own effect. My experience was that to improve my life, I had to work, and keep working, and keep working for it. It took well over a year of continuous effort, which I am able to affirm, because I have the receipts in my journal to prove. I just posted my experience, because I think someone might find something usefull on how I, personally, got less lonely. My take will obviously not be universal, and each experience is different. But if anyone can take anything usefull from it, it was worth it. But sorry for rambling, I am too tired to make a proper edit.
