Hey op. Good life lesson moment here, and I’m surprised it hasn’t been mentioned yet. Throw the ball in her court. Say, I’m usually free on x.y.z days and want to take you out. Get back to me if any of these days work If she gives an excuse, don’t text back. She’s implying she’s not interested. something you’ll have to learn is that a lot of people you talk to will tell you what you want to hear and minimize the issue at hand. It’s a lot easier to tell someone they’re busy, instead of saying the…

Working with feminist woman absolutely entails feminizing men. They find masculinity toxic
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/24 02:48 PM

Everything is a man’s fault. I wonder how we ended up here. 🤔

There’s a fair share of Mormon polygamist communities. Fuck them, their values, and their lifestyle

My ex wife was extremely verbally abusive. So much so that even her sister ended up taking my side many times. Also, arranged marriage is more about the family. Everyone plays a part, and they’re all pieces to move for power and status. You realize a lot of the men also got forced into these too, right?

I think the problem with this subreddit is that both the men and women here have an axe to grind against the other gender. It’s exhausting

When did I mention any of that.

It’s a psychological need. Lol. Why do you think you’re here? It’s deeply rooted into our psychology, if it wasnt, we wouldn’t be here. You should see the crazy shit that happens when societies start making people jump through all sorts of hoops and shit just to get sex. The Catholics and Christian’s did a pretty damn good job at keeping it real competitive and shaming/ostracizing anyone who didn’t play ball.

Dating as a guy is a lot easier in your 30s than 20s imo

Yeh this is what I’m finding. They tick all the right boxes but won’t stay in a relationship the moment something doesn’t go right or it gets a little difficult. 😂

It’s funny. As a guy I couldn’t imagine excluding women out of my dating pool if they made less than me. I’m working on the whole being happier alone thing, and the kind of mindset you have here is part of what makes me ready to give up. I make well above median, but don’t own a house. That probably already crosses off 60% of eligible women for me above 30. It’s really just a fucking shit fest of unreal expectations. 🙌 done.

There’s a lot of very attractive women over 30. I kinda feel like a lot of that hatred comes from men in their 20’s

Nope. In my last marriage, we divided the chores, and I cooked.

That’s not how you get a long term fulfilling relationship, and that’s not what love is.. but I’m starting to give up on that term now adays But you keep doing you.

“Refuse to settle” if they’re still not settling at this point, they’re probably the problem. I find it really hard to believe they can’t find someone suitable well into their 30’s and are struggling. I think the average woman now adays has a bar not a lot of men can meet. We can tick some boxes, not all. 🤷‍♂️

I’m 35 and looking for that. A lot of these people I’ve dated are just broken. I am too in my own ways but, usually they just bail anytime something gets difficult. I try to work through it. Also, a beautiful well grounded woman looking for marriage like you describe, there’s usually a reason they’re still looking.. and it’s not good. I don’t want to be a provider, I want an equal. I’ve only dated one person who seemed to be ok with that this year. It would be nice to not pay to waste my time ne…

Hi, 34 here. First gf at 25, first kiss at 25. I went through) all of what you described and was a complete shut in and even avoided college until 24. I read the book models by mark manson, took the advice and really fucking pushed out my comfort zone. Got married, divorced 7 years later. Been with 7 women, 4 this year after the divorce. It’s doable. You just have to push through feeling awkward. Eventually I got a bit better at socializing in my early 30’s. Others are still a lot better at me, …

Imagine being in a desert and someone offers you water. Do you say no because it’s not Poland spring? This is the reality of being a man.

I think you’re overthinking this. Why would I date a woman who has a lot of extra shit going on with a kid when I can choose not to? Just seems like a whole lot of baggage I don’t want to deal with. Would you date someone you find unattractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/24 10:56 PM

In op’s example, I wouldn’t even ask if she wanted to have sex. I’d look at her attitude, body language… and simply match it. If she said no, as in this example when asked… well we all know what’s going on here and she wants to be pursued. This isn’t that complicated guys. The majority of communication isn’t verbal.

Honestly, the best way is through mutuals, work/hobby. Yeh don’t shit where you eat but, why deprive your self of the chance at something great

There is a very large difference between a 20 and a 25 year old. And there is a small difference between a 35 year old and a 40 year old. If you don’t think so, that’s just weird
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/24 03:58 PM

Just because a need isn't necessary for survival doesn't make it less than important. There's a hierarchy of needs where sex is on a higher level than the food/water/shelter that you've described. It doesn't fundamentally devalue itself as a need just because it isn't necessary, but for anyone to reach the height of their nature, it is considered a necessity.

I don't think that happens as much as you think it does. Stop caring about rejection, be respectful and go for it. Have situational awareness and make some small chat before telling her you want to take her out/or give her your number.

You’re mostly correct.. And you know what those two cultures have in common? A beautiful woman is still a status symbol. Im saying that it’s a universal marker of status across nearly every culture that’s driven by biology. There are things that show status that are specific to a culture but that doesn’t disprove what I’m saying..

Gee, I wonder why nearly every culture in the world naturally came to the same “social construct”

Let’s turn this around. Say, this guy had a child with another woman, but refuses to give you one after an extended LTR. You wouldn’t feel an ego blow?

I could see how this would be a big ego blow to the guy. I’d be pissed. I’d immediately think I’m not good enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 08:37 PM

what are you trying to protect people from? from a rejection? lol.

id say she's more attractive than average.

I’ve Deff heard of more than a few cases of where the guy was persistent and it worked. Personally, I probably wouldn’t unless I was really obsessed with the person… but even then I’d be respectful of the rejection. I’d just keep trying. I’ve only done this once.

I’d have to agree with her. Loser women are typically unattractive/overweight.. and don’t dress feminine.

I’d agree that both struggle to find LTR and marriage. I think the tie between masculinity in sex isn’t a social construct. I think it’s been pervasive across nearly all cultures. Being sexually successful is a status symbol. For women it’s been tying them selves to a man who’s been successful in life for their own status. however, I think that’s changing a bit with modern society, but I think there is truth to it.

I think evidence would be the data that’s been released by dating apps. There’s also a biological reason that women are more selective. In a side note, I find these debates funny. The top 30% of men are far more privileged than most women, but the majority of men are less privileged than the average woman when it comes to being able to find intimacy, social belonging, and a sense of worth.

I think you’re being unfair here. There are plenty of women spaces where men are attacked, I think you wouldn’t find a lot of wording as aggressive as some of the men’s spaces but you wont find a shortage of hate. There are incredibly angry and sexually frustrated men with little guidance in our society. No one owes them sex, however, it is a fundamental need that needs an outlet. Dating and sexual relationships have drastically changed in the past 20-30 years. We also have a lot more broken fam…

You’re looking at this from a social perspective, but I’m inclined to believe it’s more rooted in biology. Men have the potential to be more dangerous than a woman, and testosterone makes us a lot more aggreesive. Innately, everyone knows that… and that’s why we’re treated differently on a level that most wouldn’t consciously realize.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/24 01:49 PM

I’ve experienced far less leniency in my male dominated field than the woman I’ve seen in it. I was also heavily bullied before I got to the skill set that I have now. My personal experience is that women are giving far more leniency for mistakes than male counterparts. Probably depends a lot on company culture and who your boss is as well

I don’t think demisexual is the correct label. Tbh, a woman showing interest in me sparks my attraction towards them, even if I don’t see them as a long term partner. I still wouldn’t use that label
