1	Alabama's felon disenfranchisement policies are likely unconstitutional, and they have disparate impacts on felons who are poor, black, or both, according to experts. I'm not seeing a problem here. I DON'T WANT felons to vote. There ought to be some real penalty for criminal behavior - like theft (and credit card fraud is just sneaky theft). She wants to vote? Don't steal from people. If the law is going to allow her to vote again only after she has paid back what she stole, I think the state is being more than generous. 3	All this talk about menspreading got me wondering; aren't men 'supposed' to give up their seat for women? I rarely ride public transit, but back when I did, occasionally, 15 years ago, society was already moving into the dumps. I'd offer my seat to a woman (I hesitate to say "lady", because they didn't behave in a ladylike way) only to be snubbed. Judaism is one of the few religions that REQUIRE both parties to engage in sex. It's also one of the few religions in which sex is SUPPOSED TO BE enjoyable. Too many Christian sects regard sex as a barely tolerable evil. There's an old saying that "Hard cases make for bad law". Halakhah - Jewish religious law - is intended to keep the family together and WORKING together. It mostly does its job.
