The only way Zelensky stops the war, or could have stopped the war is complete capitulation of his country. MOST (yourself included) would have cowardly fled on day one of the invasion and left millions to be occupied and subjugated. Instead he galvanised a nation, maintained independence and has crippled one of the biggest armies and economies on the planet. I’d hate to know your country of origin and politics, but the fact you misread this conflict so severely is a huge indicator that you’re a…

I tried telling my nurse about this whilst experiencing sleeping difficulties in hospital, but she wasn’t having it at all. I think you’re absolutely right about arousal not granting consent, a large part of this blind spot in the law is prossibly due to a lazy assumption on active and passiveness, if that’s even a word. They probably just thought all sex was a man mounting a woman missionary and her just laying there in silent discomfort. It might have been presumed that if a man is doing all t…

Several reasons. For me personally, I don’t think the supposed benefits are worth the consent issues, potential complications and the loss of feeling that comes with it. I have no issue whatsoever if circumcision solves a genuine health issue on a child, or the person is old enough to actually want to do it for whatever reason. Just chopping bits off a baby’s dick because my parents did it to me, or a sky wizard who created foreskins, now hates foreskins, fucking bewilders me, honestly.
