The second Icelandic Women’s Strike is a good part of why I have serious doubts about the bona fides of contemporary feminism. Anyone who looks at this critically (I.E. beyond a strictly feminist lens) is going to see two or three big issues. First is that feminists will continue to have and partake in these strikes even while one is holding the highest office in the land and their demonstrable disadvantage is questionable at best.
