This. Think of logistics. Even if she did accept, a dead hour would KILL any positive momentum you do have. Think like Amazon. Make it easy to do business with you. Also, I think you should avoid being so affiliated with work. Do an activity that has nothing to do with the workplace. To me, something after a work shift still feels a little too close to work. I would offer an alternate perspective on ‘be on your purpose.’ It does NOT mean ‘do nothing’. Being a data engineer will not get you any women on its own. I think being on your purpose means NOT making your happiness contingent on the approval of either a specific woman or women in general. I don’t know you and maybe you don’t. They way you wrote about it, however, suggests it. The way I used to do it is to go about my daily life and approach women when I was interested. I got way more dates and attractive women that way. When I did go out for the purpose of just approaching, especially at nighttime it was a huge waste of time. I came back at 6 AM THE NEXT morning. I think you’re being way too clinical about this. Try treating them as human beings not someone on a list of 40 approaches. People can tell when they’re part of someone’s conversion funnel and it doesn’t sell well. Be a real person. Talk to them like they’re real people. No robot pick-up stuff.

Right where I live. There’s a Greek place in the corner booked to the hilt. The owner wears a suit and shakes hands with high status people and beautiful people all day. Very hard to get into but if you’re friendly with him and the staff he finds a place. Even then, you still have to wait up to an hour or more.

I’d suggest looking at your interests. Forget about dating for a minute. What do you like? Is it mid century architecture? Art? Foodie? Disney World? Travel. I haven’t had a huge amount of luck with this. It’s sort of like yoga class. Lots of good looking single women, but they’re on a mission and in my experience not always in a mood to be approached. The caveat on this is look for eye contact and especially a smile. If she holds it longer than a second, you’re in. Also you can quickly tell if a girl is taken in a grocery store. Yeah. I met a woman for a coffee date who really physically was SO cute. Her pictures and her style and everything looked so spritely and energetic. We went for coffee and within like 2 minutes it was clear there was NOTHING there. She was so dull and lacked energy. Another very good indicator of interest is SPEED she responds to any form of digital communication. When I was younger, I pinged a girl and she waited a solid 30 minutes to respond. I think this is true mentally as well. If a woman can destroy your soul being, then you’re already done. Women cannot make your existence. They are a nice to have. I have done ok at clubs. I think one thing that worked is to go as a part of some Meetup, special event or other group. Go when people are receptive to being approached.
