1	Should FTM transsexuals register for Selective Service? I understand this line of reasoning and mostly agree. I would register if I felt like I was suitable for the military. The fact is that my intersex body would not be accepted even if I were drafted. 1	Should FTM transsexuals register for Selective Service? I’m an 18 year old transsexual male. I did not have to register for the selective service because I was born female. I had to submit an exemption form proving my birth sex in order to be able to complete my FAFSA, since I am legally male. 7	Trans men and women, what has been your experience as both genders? I transitioned to male pretty young, but my experience has been that society expects more of men. Women face hardships too. I noticed I was taken less seriously perceived as female, but I was younger so that could be the reason too. I was given more opportunities academically as female. Men and boys are less recognized in the school system than women. Women also have it much easier in the dating world. I am now a super short guy, and am unsure if women will ever want to date me. I’m a man of trans experience and having lived being perceived as both sexes, I can tell you women have more social privilege. At least this is true in most developed countries today — I can’t speak for less developed countries.
