It's just the abroad mindset. It will pass, don't worry.

That seems more reasonable. Thanks for the advice! How do I "establish control"? Should I just cut short - along the lines of: "Meeting, ttyl"?

Alright, I get it. Was hoping for something less extreme I guess.

Right. So what's the deal with just trying nevertheless if the outcome's gonna be the same - other than obviously having a blue-pill mindset for one relationship. Like TRP did so much good for the local stuff I have going, but god damn why not give it a shot

My rational mind did; there's still that part that wants to try and believes in miracles tho.

So you're suggesting flat-out ignore? I was actually waiting for it to eventually fade naturally after a week and then pick it back up a few months later.

Thanks for taking the time! While you're right, I never seem to be self-fulfilled - the other side always has the greener grass. But isn't it a really important skill to have? I see what you're getting at, but I'm afraid to lose that skill then or just get bad at it, it's like doing math on a calculator for everything, rather than doing it in your head. I consider myself fairly good at reading other people and think it's viable to do so, in order to "play" people and seduce them easily. In my opinion every social interaction is a mind game in a way. I know this sounds stupid and like I'm part of /r/iamverysmart but back w…

Actually people say I come over really strong and am more of an extrovert... I don't know what it is, but I just can't socially interact 24/7 a whole week, without getting mad and really toxic.

Great words, but I noticed I get exhausted of social interaction. I know I could, but it just doesn't fill me with joy… at all.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
